Shepherd Artisan Coffee

This place was a perfect stop for morning coffee, and a block from the beach! Augustina made an amazing coffee, and the pastries were delicious too. It's so peaceful to sit street side outdoors (indoor options too) while sipping coffee.

Great little coffee shop. Good iced or hot regular coffee, and lattes. The two times we went here, they were out of macaroons, which was a bummer, but you must need to get there really early. Nice indoor seating, and a few outdoor tables as well. A short walk back to the beach, and most hotels.

The place inside is very cute. However, the service is not so good. We ordered an iced chai tea latte and a caramel frappe. I didn’t like the frappe at all, and asked if we could switch it for another chai tea late (I only took a sip, and I didn’t like it at all so I didn’t drink any more of it). The barista said “oH wE cAnT dO tHaT bEcAuSE wE cAnT rEuSe tHe cOfFeE” like, sir, that’s the whole point. I don’t want you to reuse that coffee, it’s not good. I wanted something different. I paid almost $6-7 on that drink just to go to trash, and I didn’t even drink it?

We had to insist on changing it, we had to get mad, and he was still resisting until we mentioned we wouldn’t leave a good review (I was planning in giving 5 stars) then all of the sudden he said he would be able to give us the drink.

I’ve never experienced this treatment anywhere. Not even Starbucks or other small coffee shops would treat their customers like that.

The iced chai tea latte was really good. I truly recommend it. I don’t recommend the frappe.

Again, the place is very nice and their baked good look really good (I didn’t have any but they look yummy). The service just kinda sucked, especially the fact that they made us get mad just to change a drink we didn’t like.

So we are out of town and it was a rainy day. We walked from our hotel and saw this coffee house and decided to order. There was three of us and I looked for some place to sit. The only seating was outside. There were two 4 person tables that were outside. One of them was occupied by a man who looked like a patron. That table was completely out of the rain. The other table was half in the rain. I sat in the seat of the table that was half in the rain. The man at the other table told me not to sit on the seat because it was close to the door that had some kind of digital sign. Obviously he was the owner or manager. So I go up and went inside and had to pull chairs at a two person table and was in the way the whole time of the lane of foot traffic. Instead of the owner/manager just giving us the only table available he just sat there on his phone. Coffee is good. Chai latte with macadamia nut milk was good.

Shepherd artisan coffee has great juices and coffee and most of all pastry dishes and light sandwiches to get your day going.

Living so close to this place is an amenity for me, also a nice patio to sit and eat while people watching the crazy south beach life. I have the chicken sandwich on a baguette and it was amazingly fire 🔥. Very clean and organized inside I like this place a lot. No parking on Collins so expect to walk, but a good place for a quick break.

The surcharge for almond milk was over $2 - for boxed almond milk. It ruined the flavor of my coffee. It was also extremely strong - I drains less than 1/2 of a small and was crazy jittery. They should advertise how much caffeine is in their drinks.

Went for breakfast on the coldest day in January. Had cappuccinos, homemade cinnamon nut bread, V2 juice which was surprisingly fair priced (6.99).
Coffees were good, service was excellent, place was clean, seating space limited. Overall good.

Super convenient location. Everything was fresh. Coffee was excellent.

We had an amazing breakfast and coffee was great perfect size of coffee nice an large just what you need when you wake up is a large coffee as the sun is coming up.nice portions for the money and easy to walk to.

Definitely my go to coffee shop in Sobe. The coffees, lattes, expresso is delish. I haven't had food here but they have a nice variety from avocado toast to empanadas and other pastries. The place is really small but they do have ample outdoor seating.
