Paradise Cuban Restaurant would have been an easy place to accidentally overlook, and that would have been absolutely a shame. If you like cuisine with a distinct style, or prefer a more hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant over the bigger tourist-draws, don't miss this one. The food is genuinely Cuban, and is very delicious (no matter what you get, I highly recommend you get an empanada for yourself as well; they are cheap and incredible).

We've been going there for years. By far the best Cuban south of Little Havana. The food, fabulous. No frills and service just OK but well worth the visit. See you next week.

Great coffee con leche, great guava pastry. Many choices for all meals.

Food was pretty good, but nothing special. Staff was alright.

Absolutely no cares given. They were more worried about socializing than checking on their only table. Had to ask 3 times for my drink, got my food way overcooked, my partners food never arrived after 30 min. Then they dropped off the check. The ONLY good thing was the juice. That's it.

We went to this restaurant expecting a good old Cuban style breakfast. This place was awful. The eggs were overcooked, the ham looked like it was not cooked at all and the potatoes were simply uneatable. Portions were also very small. The only descent things were the bread and Cuban coffee. Not sure about lunch or anything else but would not recommend for breakfast.

Stopped by unexpectedly as we had to kill time while waiting for our tour at the Turtle Hospital. My husband and I shared a Cuban sandwich, which easily was enough for the two of us. Great good, great prices and service. I finished with a delicious coffee with sweet milk. Their cute calico cat sat by us very politely. Will go back!

the best place in the keys to try cuban food

Paradise indeed. I had some marinated pork ribs, black beans and rice, and yucca. Absolutely delicious. If there were 6 stars, I would give them 6. The only drawback is that my yearning to visit Cuba has been deepened. 😭😭😭

Truly a hidden gem. We loved the food and the staff very welcoming. A must see if you visit the keys!!
