Hillcrest Coffee

It has a unique styling. It is very small. About 4 people can sit inside and 6 outside. The coffee is fantastic. It is not overly sweetened like Starbucks coffee and has many different types of coffee that cause the drinks to taste differently. They have an option for almond milk, which is a huge plus in my book. It's a more familial environment. The workers there want to engage the people they are serving and make the user experience better. It is so quaint. It's good for maybe a deeper conversation with a buddy or two but isn't a place for just the get it and go experience.

This place is wonderful. The staff and owner are so kind and friendly. Their drinks are delicious. You cannot go wrong with a tea forte of any of the options. Their lattes are great and even the coffee of the day is always fabulous.

I'm here *way* too much, but I love it! The coffee and tea selections are excellent, the staff are always so nice and speedy, and the homey atmosphere just cannot be beat. I love doing homework in here as well, it's a fantastic place to just relax and study. I would love to have nutrition info. available for drinks and food - maybe an online or an in-store menu? I love this cute little coffee shop. On Thursdays they have local artists perform and stay open later than their normal business hours. It is in walking distance of my house and adds a nice stop for my evening walk. Good tasting tea as well.

I visited today for the first time. Wanted to stay for hours, lol. The ambiance, coffee and friendly laid back service were that good. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to enjoy a chain store coffee shop again. Now that I’ve discovered this unique little gem.

This is our daily coffee stop. I cannot express how much I love this place. Great atmosphere, excellent staff, DELICIOUS coffee. They offer multiple local brews, which is super cool. Really cozy. Also cool music nights! I recommend this place to everyone that I talk to.

Great atmosphere, excellent customer service, unique, and all-around peaceful environment. You get to see the personality of the owner(s) through the artwork and build-out of the coffee shop. One of a kind. Highly recommended!

Delicious coffee! The staff is so friendly. They helped me choose a coffee since i typically do not drink coffee. The shop is lovely and cozy. They have free wifi and comfy seating!. Will be going here again really soon!

Always a great experience at Hillcrest. It can be hard to find a coffee shop with a sense of place and personality. Too often, other shops can feel sterile, cold and uniform in their design and branding despite otherwise great coffee. Fortunately, Hillcrest breaks the mold. They have three different roasters to select from, which is almost too many. And it seems to be the living room of the entire Lakeland community; everyone knows each other by name and will strike up a conversation. With the pandemic I didn't spend as much time here as I wanted; I'm finally getting to know the charm (and Hillcrest's people) better.
