Locally roasted coffee, live music, local art with a room to display the art on the walls.. We found this place completely by accident and we are so happy we did. There's so much good about this place it's hard to put it into a cohesive paragraph so I'll sum it up with this.

Bringing it back to local communities, whatever "it" is, that's what we need.

I love the atmosphere here! Its a quaint little brick cottage. It’s a really great spot to study, listen to music, play games and even color! I had some peach tea and it was delicious.

The chilled latte I had was great. The cheese scone was delicious. The decor/atmosphere is very nice. I will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the friendly coffee barista, the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, the fantastic latte, and asparagus quiche. We will certainly make this a go-to place for our coffee.

Always friendly faces and good strong coffee. Love the different types of Quiches everyday. Outside seating is perfect 👌

Hillcrest has quickly become a local treasure. While some of the other shops are either too busy or too hip, Brian and team are serving great locally sourced coffee in the most comfortable shop in town. There is a regular schedule of live artists and music for all tastes. Also, the beans are a great deal if you prefer to brew your own considering everything comes from local roasters and is way fresher than super market coffee. If you like coffee and/or great people, you'll love Hillcrest.

Employees don’t wear masks while making your coffee and food. Touching the register the customer touches, then touching your food and drinks. Needs to be more sanitary at this critical time.

One of lakeland's hidden gems. Although they have grown so much on popularity that I think hidden is the word I would use anymore. This is a peoples coffee shop. None of the pretentiousness you get with some coffeeshops nowadays. Grab a book and a coffee, get your computer and share a table with someone else. A place to meet amazing people. Also they have music nights if you want to relax without alcohol and family and listen to great local artist.

Found this great shop and decided to stop by. What a wonderful surprise , great mix of atmosphere and coffee.

This is now my spot for coffee and places to be at during the week.

Very enjoyable and relaxing.

My friends had a special occasion there recently and the staff was wonderful, very kind and helpful. The coffees and teas are delicious and there is a large variety to choose from.
