Hillcrest Coffee

First time sitting down in this spot, to catch up with a friend....I always loved the coffee and atmosphere, and it was EVEN better getting to just grab a coffee with a friend and chat for a few hours (sorry Brian and others, I stayed a little long!). Definitely recommend this place...something about this spot is very healing, and makes you feel the "community" in Lakeland :)

It's like walking into your grandmother's cozy home! Full of unique and vintage furniture, a whole room with stacks of CDs and record players, and filled with bookshelves of books and board games to play with.

Thursday night music is the best time to come with friends and wind down!! This shop has been my Thursday evening go-to for the last month and I always have a wonderful time.

Thank you Hillcrest Coffee, the wonderful owners, the talented musicians, and the charismatic staff members to great service and wonderful memories made for my last year in Lakeland before I'm off to college.

Adorable coffee chop, great quiet place for a 1 on 1 meeting or to get some work done. Terrific baristas, consistent every time I go.

This little coffee shop is a gem! The coffee was fantastic and the atmosphere even better. The staff and patrons both were warm and friendly. Great place to hang out with indoor and outdoor seating and several nooks for working. There's even a chess board if you're so inclined!

I love the music area...tons of selections. Such a cool vibe. The owners and staff WANT you to stay and relax. They really make you feel "at home". Coffees are great, quiches are so delicious, and the place is comfy and inviting.

Outstanding local business. My wife and I are lucky enough to live within walking distance of Hillcrest. We've always received friendly service. It's a fun space to spend time in, inside or outside. My wife, being the coffee drinker of the house, has been happy with every coffee option she's had there. The chai latte is also excellent. I would like to see a greater variety of pastry options, but the pastries they do have taste delicious.

Wonderfully presented, well organized, and homey. Great coffee; great staff. Our event here was wonderful. Couldn't recommend them more.

Cute coffee shop - a great atmosphere, especially for playing games and catching up with friends. Seating can be tough to find at their busy times as it is pretty limited. Mainly I ranked them at 3 stars for the limited seating and the very loud, very weird music they insist on playing. It can be tough to concentrate if you are trying to work as it's all very experimental, moody stuff and played very loudly for a small, intimate setting.

The cutest coffee house just outside of downtown. Located in a historic house. They have so many CDs and a record player. I had an iced coffee which was delicious and a bagel with cream cheese which was also very good. I have the pleasure to be able to walk there from my work and I will definitely be visiting regularly. They also have live musicians on occasion and I can't wait to go soon! Such a fortunate find!

This is a wonderful place to get coffee and tea! I’m pretty picky about my chai latte, so I was very excited when I tried Hillcrest’s. It has the perfect combination of spices. The ambience in this establishment is cozy and comfortable. If I lived in Lakeland, I’d be a regular here.
