Food was fantastic! As you can see the portions were gargantuan in the best way possible.

Delightful! We were in Jacksonville for a funeral at a nearby church, found The Local online, and decided to try it for a lunch after the service. It was excellent! We had a table in a nice little alcove, and were able to spend some time catching up with friends with a little privacy. We were not rushed at all. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Portions are very generous. Not sure when we'll be back, but definitely recommend The Local.

Nice place with a bit of a hipster vibe. The server was very friendly and seemed to legitimately feel bad for not bringing me another coke, even after I said I was fine. The burger was juicy and the fries were amazing.

Good food very large portions. Very good latte and sangria. They don't have unlimited mimosas anymore just single or a carafe.

The food was subpar, but that on its own wouldn't have been enough for me to take time to review it negatively, if it wasn't for the abysmal service we received. The waitress was rude and condescending. She seemed annoyed that we answered questions she had, not even that we made. I get it, it's brunch time and it get's busy so that affects the kitchen and staff, but that was not a response to being hectic. I brought friends and family from out of town to try something local to the area and unfortunately left with a poor experience and taste in our mouth.
