This is my favorite coffee shop in town. They have a fun/funky aesthetic yet comfortable seating, making it a great place for a date, coffee with a friend, or even working remotely.

The cold brew is AMAZING- so smooth and delicious! They brew Panther coffee from Miami which if you haven't tried, you should- it is terrific!

The shop offers local food and beverage items including WellSpring Kombucha, a personal favorite.

Very cool little spot. Had a good time playing some live music here. Dog friendly, food truck was great. The staff was all really cool, met some Nice people. All around good time. Cheers

Update: I'm leaving the original review below for reference, but this isn't still a problem there. Way nicer baristas, and the coffee has been spot on every time I've gone recently.

Original review: The coffee is good, and atmosphere is nice. I really wanted to be able to give this place more stars but the staff has for the most part been so so so snobby. I don't like flavors in my coffee and I also can't have dairy, so if I'm only getting myself a drink they're fine. However on multiple occasions I've seen them make people feel terrible for trying to order a flavor. They've done it to both friends I've brought there, and other customers whose interactions I overheard. I still kept coming for awhile, until one interaction I had that was just ridiculous. I was trying to order a mocha to bring back to someone, who had previously enjoyed Curia's hot chocolate. When I ordered the mocha the person working immediately said, "We don't have flavors, sooooo....." and trailed off and just stared at me. I then asked if I could just get a hot chocolate with espresso in it, because that's basically the same thing. She rolled her eyes and was like "Yeah, that's just perfect. What kind of milk?" I then made the mistake of saying regular milk. She then rolled her eyes again and was like "Oh, do you mean COWS milk?" Which was completely unnecessary because we both knew I meant cow's milk. Then the price of the drink was somehow $7, which I didn't really question at the time because I didn't think it would go over well after the rest of the rude interaction. So I ended up paying $7 for a small 12 oz drink, that apparently didn't even end up tasting good. Since the drink wasn't for me I made the mistake of not tasting it before I left, but when I took a sip after the person said it wasn't good it tasted like she had just put completely unsweetened cocoa powder in a latte. After that I realized I hadn't had a good experience at Curia in awhile, so I stopped coming.

TL;DR: Liked their coffee and atmosphere when I first started coming here, but eventually rude staff and high prices made me stop going. Not worth the hassle.

There’s a large outdoor space, really relaxing. The food truck has good food too. Overall great vibes here. The one comment I have is that they got rid of the ping pong table and other games outside 😞

I took my mother for coffee at Curia while she was visiting. I had never been myself. It was fantastic. They have a nice calm atmosphere. We sat in the white ikea chairs outside. They made flowers in the foam on our cappuccinos which I had only ever seen in pictures before. I can’t wait for another evening when my husband and I can go again.

Good place to sit and chat over coffee but a little pricey. I think you're mostly paying for the ambiance, which is nice, but not overly impressive.

Curia's outside atmosphere is definitely the best part about it. There is a lot of outside seating and the employees are usually nice. I appreciate their gluten free options when available, like their rare black bean empanada and especially their regular gf item, being the muffin. They experiment with the muffin flavors sometimes, but I think the best is the berry one. The other ones are flavored a bit weird, either too rich or clashing tastes. Sometimes they have gf cake, which is ok. The food truck is ok. The gluten free options are very limited, which sucks. In Covid times this is a good place to go and get a decent hot drink.

Delicious food! I would say it's a bit pricey for the portion size. My husband and I felt like it was more of a pre-dinner snack with dinner prices. I love that it's all plant based though and the bar has a really cool atmosphere. I will definitely give it another try. I've had a very nice and helpful bartender/server there and a not so friendly one so service was okay overall.

Great little hidden gem of Gainesville. Location has onsite parking and lots of places to sit and eat. They have a coffee shop that also serves beer and wine, plus an all vegan food truck. They have a gallery and a little music stage. Great little place to go with friends or too take a date. There is a pavilion to sit under with a few games to play as well. Definitely recommend. Coffeeshop is card only fyi and they have an electric car charger on site.

Fantastic cold brew. The food is tasty and healthy. Lots of places to explore, not just the café. Friendly and helpful staff! The atmosphere is conducive to being productive on the inside, chatty outside with friends.
