1842 Daily Grind & Mercantile

I drive a hour to go get this coffee when I'm not at coffee culture in Gainesville. New owners are amazing and so kind. Looking forward to coming back soon to bring dogs for training and coffee and back egg and cheese bagels. .

Here is the full menu from our visit in Oct. 2021. We each ordered a cafe con leche and they were phenomenal. So glad CK got a coffee shop. I will definitely stop here again next time we visit 😁

My boyfriend and I are on vacation and we decided to try this cute place.. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, sit in doors or out . People are so friendly here.. We definitely will be back... Oh and the kitty outside is friendly and loving.. So cute..

In town for the invasion and visiting thai gem for breakfast. Husband and I both got the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Excellent both days, satisfying and the employees were extremely pleasant to be around. Will be a go to when we come back into town!

Cute little place! Loved that they’re wearing masks and being true to themselves even though everyone around them are going against masks. The coffees we had were delicious, and also was in love with the little set up they had out front to care for their local cats:)

Cute decor and building. The owners/staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the hot Carmel macchiato and lavender mocha. The drinks were delicious and warming. For breakfast we ordered the loaded oatmeal and the blet. The oatmeal is served with single serve cream and brown sugar. Perfect touch. It was loaded high with fruits in a large bowl. The bacon, lettuce and tomato (with egg) sandwich was delicious. Admiringly I asked for no tomato, but the bacon lettuce and egg sandwich was so good. The seeded bread added a nice flavor to the sandwich. Perfect for the cool morning. Our next visit to cedar key this is a definite visit.

Food good and fresh. Frozen key lime pie on a stick dipped in chocolate it’s the best. Got to try it.

Long time visitors of Cedar Key but first time trying out 1842! So glad we did. Delicious spot for coffee and breakfast. So many drink options! I want I try them all. Today I got the toasted marshmallow hot chocolate! Amazing! Cheddar biscuit and gravy with a friend egg was delicious. Will definitely be back! :)
