The tobasco snapper with chorizo Mac n cheese was AMAZING. We also had the fried oysters - delicious.

The dinner we had here was very good. The only downside for me was there's limited selection of non-seafood items on the menu. I came with my family and I'm not a big seafood person. But is still found something great! I personally had the meatloaf, but I believe that the dinner menu may change. The food is a bit pricier at dinner, so expect to pay around $25 per person. The food was high quality, very well seasoned. Our waitress was great as well.

Good food, friendly service set in a picturesque historic section of town. Great shopping options nearby.

During a recent visit to Apalachicola, we were tasked with deciding which of the many restaurants might best serve our tastebuds. Happily we selected Tamara's Cafe. The menu was fantastically unique while remaining true to the heritage of the region. The service was fine and the prices fair. We would go again without hesitation.

Really enjoy going to Appalachicola. Had the best lunch ever. Ordered their Cuban which was the best I ever had. They used french bread and pressed it and it was excellent. I enjoy traditional Cubans but this was far better. The Cuban pork was the real thing which is almost impossible to find in our area. The homemade potatoes chips rocked too. The portion was huge. You get what you pay for and so much more. Services was great too.

My family went here on Friday night for dinner. My husband ordered the fat boy burger, it's presentation was very sloppy, the chunk of tomato was huge you couldn't even put it in the burgers. My husband said the burger was ok, it was very impossible to pick up and eat it.
I order the veggie pasta. It was dry, no olive oil or garlic... no taste..The veggies were scarce more noodles than anything $20. 🙄 no bread no salad with this entree. My sister ordered ahi tuna she said she wouldn't order it again way too much sesame seeds.
Take away: High priced, no love in the prep or presentation of the food, bland tasting.
Service was 😕 they did even give the right change🙄

There are copious amounts of reviews on here discussing the wait staff and service. Our service was beyond slow considering it looks like they have a 3-4 person front of the house staff and only 10-12 tables to cover. You would think with this being the overwhelming topic on the reviews that they would have addressed this by now. However slow they were, their personalities were welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious, highly recommend the grouper cheeks.

If I could give it minus stars this food poisoning pit would get it. Service. It started ok when we were seated but the the server became progressively rude when I asked her if our food was coming after an hour wait! We witnessed 3 other tables come in after us, were waited on, served and leaving during the hour. During our wait, we all are or were in the food service industry, 2 of us being executive chefs in a large city. We witnessed numerous food safety violations, from minor to major violations. We asked for the check for our beverages we had and were going to leave. The server came with the food and the bill. Everything was cold, a tcf violation. My daughter in law was so hungry, she ate her fish tacos and was sick the next day! My husband's food was not what he ordered, I have been teetering to call the Franklin County Health Department and report their violations.
DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE IN NEED OF A GOOD STOMACH AND BOWEL CLEANSING!

The food was ok, when it finally came to the table correctly. Lots of mistakes, wrong entrees served, only 2 very young gals working the whole dining area inside and out who did not know anything about the beer selections. They were trying hard but management should think about limiting number of tables if kitchen is short staffed. we'd heard it was pretty good at one time but It was currently a poor experience.

Sad to give it such a bad review but I'm not happy to pay good money for such bad food. The server was great-pleasant and kept our drinks filled. The food well, my order had what was supposed to be Cuban beans and rice. The rice was not only yellow but it was actually instant rice with coloring and no flavor at all. The beans were just canned beans cooked with onions. Also flavorless. I mean, a bit of salt goes a long way in a meal. My partner's fish tacos were soggy and were laid on the plate. The tacos came with potato chips from a bag (plus, fish tacos and chips don't really go well together). They stay open by being in a tourist destination and their competition was a restaurant that seemed even worse.
