Absolutely amazing. My family and I are on vacation. Everyone loved their food. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. She recommended the Creole Pasta, two of us odered it and it was great. I love pasta and I will definitely be coming back for this one. We also had the grouper and that was amazing too. We had caramel infused churros with vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate syrup. Delicious. I cant say enough good things about our experience.

We were in town by the road, spent the night there. Intended to visit the Hole in the wall place, that we loved the previous visit, but it was almost 8 pm, so it was closed. We looked around, saw Tamara's cafe pretty close and went there. There was just ONE couple in. But we asked about the menu , was satisfied and waited.
In pretty casual manner the waitress described the menu, cause half of dishes were not on the menu at all. We made our pick. (Ok, it is just cafe, not restaurant, so we felt almost fine). The dishes were OK, not bad at least, but prices ...suddenly went 2-3 dollars up comparing to the ones we were told about at the beginning. And actually ran pretty close to the level of Tampa or even higher ( well, the paper tablecloth for that level doesn't match at all). That moment we knew WHY there were no other customers at that place - the town is small and people certainly do not appreciate the level of prices, especially when there are at least 3 other seafood place just next door.
Hey people, pay attention at the parking lot - if there are No cars on Saturday evening - the place does not deserve your money, pick the busiest one. Certainly not this one “cafe kind of restaurant”.

April 2019. We were the only guests for a longer time and were treated to amazing food (can't believe it) and a private country music performance by a mother and son. This is America as you wish it to be.

Worst meal I’ve ever had. Horseradish in mash potatoes? Yuk! My ribeye looked like it was cooked in the microwave with absolutely no seasoning what so ever. Waitress asked how it was I told her awful. She continues to act as if it’s my fault the food was awful. Would give zero stars if I could

Best place in town to get a bite of food!! Wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Lots of specials.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. We had cheeseburgers and a caprese salad. Both were absolutely excellent. The burger may have been a little past the 'medium' I ordered, but was so good it didn't matter. Friendly, fast service. Really glad we stopped in.

My wife ordered the pecan crusted grouper. IT WAS BURNT‼️And the mashed potatoes were cold. I ordered the pork chops and they had about 3/4" of fat on each one. And they also were cold. Horrible‼️ The owner needs to get these problems straighten out or close up❗

Definitely the best restaurant we found in Apalachicola! Much more varied menu than you'll find at most other raw-bar/fried fish places. Great steaks, pasta and seafood entrees, with lots of daily specials. The flash-fried grouper was about the best fried food of any kind I've had - very light and crispy! And the chorizo mac and cheese was flavorful and creamy. Blackened grouper over pasta with bacon jalapeno cream sauce was scrumptious! Great wine selection too. Wish we'd found this earlier in our visit, but glad we spent our last two nights here!

Amazing bar staff... Lacey is cute, bubbly, energetic, funny and personable... Erica is very personable, extremely hard working and very in charge of the bar area. I had long conversations with both of them and enjoyed talking to them. I started out with a beer, one of the coldest I have ever had in a bar. Then onto the bruschetta with crostini and the bbq flatbread (pulled pork, Bermuda onion, cheese and coleslaw. Both were excellent and a sizeable portion. Although I really didn't have room I ordered the churro with vanilla ice cream ... it's enough for two people to share... I would definitely recommend and be a return patron

The ambiance was nice. The drinks were not bad. The food could really use some work. This place is not quite ready for primetime.
