Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Food is pretty legit to. Waffles are good. Had a hot ham and cheese. Spice was perfect. The vibe is on point. Perfect place to relax and study if you need to study.

Delicious coffee! I’ve always had great experiences here!

Regular coffee is decent, dairy alternatives taste sour. Went today for coffee and my sister’s coconut milk coffee was sour, luke warm and foul tasting. I asked them if they could please remake it or order something different and the woman’s response was “we made it to temperature and correctly, you’ll have to pay for a new one if you want it remade.” Had to argue with them to remake a hot one and it still tasted terrible. $7 for a horrible coffee and terrible customer service. Stick to Starbucks

I waited a year to go here. As they didn’t offer decaf when they opened, and I was holding out. Needless to say. I should have continued that. I am all for their amazing giving back to the community. The ‘Do Good’ slogan rocks. And a caring local business is spectacular. However. The coffee? Tastes like butts. Now before you come for me calling me ‘Karen’, know, that my experience with coffee is just short of the Pope’s on praying. The espresso was the most bitter I have ever set lips to. Un drinkable. And while I fully appreciate their wonderful causes, 8 dollars for two shots and some milk, in the ‘large’ 8ox cup is ridiculous.I had high hopes, sadly, those were not realized today.

Absolutely amazing coffee! I love the attention to detail that clearly goes into the ingredients here. The espresso is awesome, specialty drinks are delicious, and the food is great. Also the atmosphere is really nice and baristas are friendly!
I'm also so impressed with how covid-safe this place has been. I've found that every time I've gone, it feels really safe and the same attention to detail given to the drinks is extended to keeping customers safe!

MUST TRY! Here is my guide to enjoying DOXA! First of all, the music and interior design is perfect for chilling, working, doing homework or having a meeting. The coffee selection is huge so feel free to ask the associate for guidance. You may feel the menu for food items is too small but the quality is mind blowing. My favorite is the Panini. Ask for chipotle sauce on the side and you will thank me later. The waffle even though sounds basic, it is perfect and the batter is made in house.

Revisiting my initial Doxa coffee review that had 8/10: 1/1 for customer service, 3/4 for environment, and 4/5 for coffee. With more visits I'm changing my review to 9/10, with an additional point to coffee, making it 5/5. The Residents Coffee I had was simply off the charts. Every. Single. Sip. had me going nuts. Also, without adding points, I'd like to mention that the customer service is exceptional, even better than initially thought: very knowledgeable and friendly. Only missing one point (and its not their fault), but the space, while used very well, is still simply a box. If they changed their location to something homey it would be a perfect coffee shop!

Best coffee shop in Alachua! Legit coffee connoisseurs run this place. Every season they release a new seasonal menu with drinks created by their wonderful baristas and I’m always looking forward to it. Great place to chill or work. Hands down my favorite place in Alachua!
