Poor customer service.
As a frequent customer, i feel very disheartened with my most recent interaction at doxa.

I was paying in 2 separate transactions to get 2 reward points. I was told I can not do that because they are a small business.
So then I decided to only buy 1 drink instead of 2.
I told them I spend $5 per cappuccino and consistently tip $2. Thats $7 for my cappuccino and the reward points motivates me to keep coming back to build enough points to get a free drink. We bought 5 of our friends and family for Christmas gift cards from Doxa. Many opportunities we get to give a gift I like to give Doxa gift cards. I was a fan. Now i am very disappointed the way I was treated.
This time i am buying hot chocolate and cappuccino. If I pay in two separate transactions you get two reward points if I pay in one transaction for both drinks I get one point.

I wasn’t trying to ‘abuse’ the system, I just spend a lot of money and want to build up points because I am buying sandwiches, drinks for myself and mom, and frequently come and like to surprise my girlfriend with a free drink on her account. A lot of customers try to do this and they do not like it. I suggested that they change the reward point system instead by drink do it dollars spent. The more you spend the more points for Exemouth of dollars you spent you get one point.
This makes it fair across-the-board because if somebody buys an expresso shot (One of the most inexpensive drinks $3) gets a point vs a cusomers who buys a large more complex drink $7. In both cases customer gets 1 reward point.

To concluded I was buying two drinks and because they did not want me to do it in two separate transaction I decided to only buy one.
The barista cashier did not like that and said this was disrespectful to make a recommendation like this.

I do not have a rewards account. I use my girlfriend’s rewards account so she accumulate the points but do it as a nice little surprise for her which I disclosed to the employee.

A Couple of hours later my girlfriend gets a text message from the manager saying that her account has been terminated because of my interaction with Doxa. She replied back to the manager asking, “why do I get put through this for my boyfriend’s interaction when she wasn’t even aware that I was using her account for her to get the rewards.” She also told her that they should’ve called her and explain to her the situation and really analyze if she should get terminated or not for this situation.
They Terminated her account when she had 1 free drink pending to use.

The energy and attitude is inconsistent we go to church canvas and in church they treat us amazing with respect, love and care. However, at the coffee shop during the week not the same care and love.

Hand crafted, unique & delicious drinks. The team is friendly, the atmosphere is great for work, study and meeting with a friend. Gift shop section with a great selection of gifts also!

One of the best coffee places in town. This place is perfect if you want to get some study done or just chat with friends. I felt like I was somewhere else when I walked in. This place is very clean, friendly and their products are great quality. I will be coming back!

Super cute visually, chill atmosphere, and good coffee! Barista was very helpful and polite!

Wonderful shop with amazing coffee! I ordered a honey cinnamon latte and it was, oh so yummy! The barista was very friendly and answered several questions without a blink about the church next door even though they aren't really associated. Exceptional service and coffee!

Beautiful Seattle Style coffee shop.
Everything that’s beautiful. It’s like a hidden city in the country. The bathrooms and entire place was extremely clean. The barista‘s do lattee art. The raspberry croissant was amazing!

Awesome spot with a lovely atmosphere. The drinks are great and staff very friendly. A little gem in Alachua.

The grilled cheese and tomato soup is HEAVEN. Love all of their teas and their staff are just genuinely nice and so helpful when everything on the menu looks amazing and you just don’t know what to choose! Doxa is such a treat!

Disappointed by customer service. The employees are very rude. The coffee and food was really good and well made; but the employees impacts the atmosphere and feels negative energy. There are also limited outlets; so not the best study place

Great people! Great coffee and non-coffee drinks. Wish I lived here. I'd come more often. Get the turmeric latte and try the spice sodas
