Patticakes at Tioga

Sorry to say I’ve been everywhere in tioga but this place. Really great atmosphere and the coffee and food is outstanding. The service was good and the seating is comfortable. The bagels are soft even toasted with cream cheese is perfect. The bacon is cooked perfectly and the scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese is delicious. The Con Leche is triple shot and the foamy topping compliments the coffee. If your in the neighborhood stop in for a great relaxing treat. Oh yeah the donuts and muffins are fresh in the display case……so not fair. I’ll be back for that. Lol

One of our favorite coffee shops in the Gainesville/Newberry area! Located in the town of Tioga, the cafe offers a variety of caffeinated/decaffeinated drinks, baked goods, and ice cream selection. Their coffee menu prices are very fair, and the quality of drinks is good. Staff is also very friendly. With a lot of natural light coming into the cafe, it is a great place to work or meet up with friends. They also have ample outdoor seating. We consider this place as a destination rather than a place to grab a quick cup of coffee.

The blueberry muffin was really good and super moist! The vanilla spice coffee cake was pretty good. The banana nut was meh and kind of dry. Staff was super friendly and helpful even though it was less than 10 minutes to closing. Would recommend this place to a friend.

I live in Gainesville area and I like patticakes the best out of all of the local coffee shops. They are actually reasonably priced!! Coffee has gotten way too outrageously expensive but patticakes serves quality coffee/specialty drinks AND has a nice atmosphere AND for a great price. It can be loud sometimes (it’s a popular place) but that mostly just happens on the weekend mornings

I really enjoyed the community 'gathering place' atmosphere of Patticakes. There were older friends meeting daily; students at work; athletes on break. We had fantastic breakfast sandwiches & coffee cake, sitting outdoors. Visiting from S. Carolina, I hope to be back! Highly recommend it as a food/bev sparking clean venue with friendly staff.

I had a delicious breakfast sandwich and yummy coffee. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff was very kind and friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating, also.

Best coffee shop in town! Great place for working/studying. They also have the best baked goods, the cupcakes are next level! And all the coffee/tea is fantastic as well!

The girls behind the counter are awesome and always happy even at open. Great spot to do business or grab a quiet cup of coffee.

I always enjoy going to Patticakes in Haile, but recently my husband and I stopped at the Tioga patticakes. I was not impressed at all with their service. The employees made us feel like we were bothering them by coming in. They were more concerned with chatting with each other rather than helping customers or cleaning the tables. The coffee was good, but my cup was leaking on me because it wouldn't seal correctly due to them doubling the paper cups. Maybe more supervision would be a good idea in this store.

Great coffee, amazing food, and great staff! It’s a little far from UF but absolutely worth the drive. I also appreciate all the outlets for computers and phones. 10/10!
