Black Coffee

Just kind of an OK coffee shop. I usually judge coffee shops by their cortados and this one was like a tiny latte. It was served in too large of a cup, and had too much milk and missed on the real espresso taste you want in a cortado. Also had an average cappucino that I poured half of the cortado into, hoping to strengthen it, but not much you can do. Sorry, it was just average, including the average almond croissant.

Come here all the time. Wonderful neighborhood breakfast and lunch. Always delicious. Coffee and pastries, too. Love their avocado toast and poached egg. If you're near Palisades, definitely stop by.

The coffee was about the only good thing everything else is subpar. Pancakes are a bit higher the burger kings. They taste fresher. I have better from scratch. The Egg chorizo hash was ok no real flavors mostly potatoes. The chorizo did not infuse into the rest of the plate. The food is good looking but fails In taste. I love all, all food, unless I can’t think of another place I will not be coming back. I have been here 3 times all disappointing.

Black Coffee has hands down the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had, with some super tasty house fries to boot. There burger is also a really good option. They also have a great selection of sweets and absolutely know how to work their way around a good cup of coffee. This place is a fantastic choice for a solid bite.

Delicious, friendly, quick service, clean and near environment and reasonable prices.

P.S. Free parking outside.

Waiter surly and disappeared after placing our plates on our outdoor table. I went inside to ask for take-out cartons for uneaten food. Staff was rude and impatient. All this for one salad, one sandwich and two ice teas for $34. So, also overpriced for that kind of treatment.

Great coffee. I got their regular coffee which was truly the best I’ve had in a while. I didn’t try any food besides a pastry which was really good also! Not sure about their actual menu, I’ll give it a go next time I visit. Nice vibe for studying or reading, although forewarning it can get busy and quite loud on weekend mornings. Also really good servers and customer service here; really nice and polite and do a great job at making the customer feel welcome. Thank you Black Coffee for the lovely experience!

Had high expectations based on the 5-star reviews they received. Got a London Fog latte this morning that had NO flavor and tasted like water despite being made with almond milk. Maybe their coffee is a better option..? Cute neighborhood spot and COVID safe but not sure I'll be back.

The place is cozy and neat and with good ambiance. We tried the chai latte and cappuccino and both very good.
