Sleeping Bird Coffee

We have been enjoying the Sleeping Bird Coffee truck for over a year so when they opened the the coffee shop we were very excited! The shop is great! They have the same delicious offerings that they have always had, such as unique lattes, amazing Maple Biscuits, cinnamon buns, and cookies. They have also added some new things as well, such as baked egg sandwiches, bagels, and avacado toast. The inside is small but has room for tables, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We HIGHLY recommend this place!

The staff is SO NICE, the coffee is delicious. If you go on the weekend, you’re required to try the cinnamon rolls. Holy moly. Highly recommend!

Love this coffee shop. Awesome to find some Rival Bros in Wilmington too. It’s our Sunday morning tradition to go and get lattes, bagel sandwiches, and pastries to eat outside if the weather is nice. Best biscuits. Everything is on point!

Fantastic food! Fantastic customer service! I loved the egg and cheese sandwich on a rosemary bagel. The staff treated us like family. Very nice and friendly staff members. Highly recommended!

Excellent coffee and treats. The team here keeps pushing out new creative coffee flavors, menu items, and experiences. Always worth the trip--especially for cinnamon buns!

I've been here 3 times now and they haven't been open that long. I am obsessed. Finally a good coffee shop in Wilmington! Food and coffee is equally fresh and the wait is never long. Staff is great and friendly. Everything is clean and good atmosphere. The only thing negative I have to say is, I wish they had a large coffee size for those days that you need it. Other than that, I love this spot!

Highly recommend! Their pork roll egg and cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the specialty lattes - excellent as well. The staff and owners were extremely friendly!

I've been searching for a good coffee shop for a while and I'm so glad I've finally found one. Staff were extremely friendly and kind, food and drink were excellent (I got a decaf oatmilk latte and a pecan praline scone), open and airy atmosphere, happy people enjoying their day. I made a mental note as a left, saying to myself, "Wow, I haven't had that awesome an experience anywhere in a long time." Everything gets top marks. Prices are on point with this day and age. People complaining about $4 bagels have never tried to run their own business. Thank you, Sleeping Bird! I'll be back ASAP!

I've been here a few times and definitely recommended. I usually get an iced latte and the "Dove" wrap. Both are delicious. It's hard to find a cafe in town that does coffee and luch well. Most places usually do one or the other and I end-up having to make 2 stops, but this place solves that problem. They have quality food AND quality coffee. Glad to have them as an in-town option. Will definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

This is such a nice cafe! Wilmington needs more businesses like Sleeping Bird. Great coffee, staff is always friendly and I always have a good experience coming here.
