Sleeping Bird Coffee

Had the opportunity to be part of the first Tea Time at this location on February 6, 2022 and it was amazing. The set up along with the offerings were very quaint and tasty. Highly recommend checking out this spot for coffee spiced from Rival Bros and teas and of course their delicious pastry’s and sandwiches.

I want to come back soon! I had been wanting to try this place, but hadn’t had time. For my birthday, I decided I just wanted to grab a latte and snack here! The space is beautiful, the coffee and crumb cake were amazing, but what most caught my attention was how friendly the baristas were. I feel like that can be so rare. So thank you! It was a great start for my mellow birthday this year!

If you’re looking for a chic and delicious coffee shop in Wilmington look no further!! In search of the perfect breakfast sandwich and latte I found this place, and will now be here regularly. Fresh and delicious food, the pastries were heaven. Gorgeous cafe!

I stopped by Sleeping Bird Coffee and was incredibly impressed! It was busy so I can tell it is popular. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable when there were questions. I had their avocado toast and an iced chai and they were delicious! The weather was nice so I enjoyed sitting on one of their benches outside while I ate.

Another hidden gem in Delaware! Sleeping Bird Coffee was a hit. I ordered the Salmon Bagel Sandwich on an Everything Bagel. I panicked because I don't know all the fancy coffees so I just ordered a regular one. The atmosphere is a little hippy but cool. It started to get packed meaning the secret is starting to get out. A must try.

I have searched high and low for a coffee shop in the area with great coffee, tasty food, and the right vibe. I have visited many. They have been largely disappointing. This place is the only one that keeps me coming back.

The staff make this place shine. Jess, Elsa, and the whole gang are super awesome. They made great suggestions and knew (and remembered) my name after the first visit. I have come every day this week.

Suggestions: Try the maple biscuit or the smoked salmon sandwich (on rosemary and sea salt bagel).

Great quality food! Perfect for breakfast. Good coffee and some teas. The avacado sandwich is very good. Fresh bagels and traditional sandwich like pork roll and eggs. Definitely recommend. 👍

I've been looking forward to Sleeping Bird opening for a while now. It exceeded my expectations by far. My wife and I stopped in for coffee and breakfast this morning. We loved both. We had iced coffee that was excellent (no cream, no sugar). She had a bagel with pimento cream cheese that she loved. I had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the egg was delightfully fluffy. All in all a great value and an awesome addition to the space. I'm looking forward to trying their lunch soon and will definitely be checking out their other coffee selections.

So cute and so good!!! I got the avocado toast and an iced latte. I also got some sort of iced tea and it was so refreshing and fruity! It is so cozy and cute in there too. The avocado toast had capers, onion and dill on it and it was super good. When I went, they had someone selling fresh flowers there and they had a lot of business cards for local businesses. I thought that was so neat. The baristas are also so so so nice!!!
