Review of Angie's
Angie's: A Cozy Coffee Shop and Restaurant
If you're looking for a small, cozy place to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch, Angie's is the perfect spot. This family-owned coffee shop and restaurant is located at 336 N Elm St in Torrington, Connecticut. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
Angie's is primarily a breakfast and brunch spot, but it also serves lunch. The menu is simple but delicious, with classic breakfast dishes like pancakes, omelets, and French toast. Customers rave about the blueberry Texas French toast and the western omelet, which is stuffed with ham, peppers, onions, and cheese. The portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry.
The coffee at Angie's is also worth mentioning. It's freshly brewed and pairs perfectly with the breakfast dishes. The restaurant also serves other beverages like tea and juice.
Angie's is a small place, so it can get crowded during peak hours. However, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, but it's open from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Saturdays, it's open from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, and on Sundays, it's open from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
If you're in the Torrington area and looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch, Angie's is definitely worth a visit. It's a small gem that offers great food and excellent service at a reasonable price.

Good food but limited menu. Prices are great for what is offered. Coffee is well made (no burning the coffee by overbrewing it). Dining area is small but doesn't seem cramped.

Very good service and food. Prices higher than expected but you get what you pay for...I guess. I don't have to like it. $30 plus tip $$ for 3 people's breakfast seems high to me. But it was good. But still...$$$$. My guests were disappointed with their choices, but they envied my choice. Lol. I don't even remember what it was.
I'd go back... by myself. Won't bring guests next time.

Occasionally I stop in for a breakfast sandwich or 2 and maybe a coffee. When she first opened I used to go for coffee everyday. Today I called in an order and went and picked it up, admittedly a few minutes early. While in there the young woman bagged my items and apologized for something.. not sure what but the owner tells the woman sternly not to apologize. Now the last couple of years increasingly the owner seems to have an attitude everytime I go in there. So I have decided to stop patronizing her establishment.

Excellent hometown diner food and atmosphere! It seems pretty unassuming at first but this place really is a gem. The service was fantastic as well! I highly suggest it for anyone nearby or just passing through!

This restaurant has never ceased to delight with delicious food, always hot and wonderful & friendly service. We enjoyed a breakfast from Angie's while without power and will have a lunch treat today! Can't wait!

I don't recommend this breakfast place, we order our food before other people whom arrived after us, and the kitchen decided to cook and serve our food last. It took like an hour or more to receive my meal for lunch. Also, it wasn't great like others write, I ate better and fast at Tony's restaurant.
