Angie's: A Cozy Coffee Shop and Restaurant

If you're looking for a small, cozy place to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch, Angie's is the perfect spot. This family-owned coffee shop and restaurant is located at 336 N Elm St in Torrington, Connecticut. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Angie's is primarily a breakfast and brunch spot, but it also serves lunch. The menu is simple but delicious, with classic breakfast dishes like pancakes, omelets, and French toast. Customers rave about the blueberry Texas French toast and the western omelet, which is stuffed with ham, peppers, onions, and cheese. The portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry.

The coffee at Angie's is also worth mentioning. It's freshly brewed and pairs perfectly with the breakfast dishes. The restaurant also serves other beverages like tea and juice.

Angie's is a small place, so it can get crowded during peak hours. However, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, but it's open from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Saturdays, it's open from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, and on Sundays, it's open from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

If you're in the Torrington area and looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch, Angie's is definitely worth a visit. It's a small gem that offers great food and excellent service at a reasonable price.

I was visiting from New York City with a friend from London, and we made a pit stop during a road trip for brunch… and this no frills place was just what we needed.

I ordered the NY Strip and Eggs special, shared blueberry pancakes, and my friend had eggs and bacon. Hands down the best breakfast we’ve had in a long time. Just an old school joint that is serious about food quality. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy with fresh pockets of blueberries, the steak and eggs were actually cooked to perfection (medium rare/eggs over medium), bacon and eggs were perfect. Not to mention, the rye toast and coffee top of all off.

Let’s just say we will be back whenever we are in New England!

Homey, on the small size, welcoming, breakfast (short lunch) restaurant. Family business. Great service. I had the sausage gravy on biscuits with lightly scrambled eggs and the homemade corned beef hash. The gravy had lots of sausage and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The corned beef hash was fried perfectly which hid the great proportion contained within. Frank's hot sauce and napkins at the table, aggressive eaters like myself need that. Everything was as good or better tham mom used to make. ❤ (blueberry muffin was outstanding)

This place is a gem if you’re ever in the area! I’ve had my fair share of French toast but Miss Angie’s blueberry Texas French toast-phenomenal, I didn’t even need syrup. I also got the western omelette it has ham, peppers, onions and cheese; it was stuffed, just like I was by the end of my meal. Do yourself a favor and go there! It’s a small, comfy spot that’s probably jam packed on the weekends but on my Friday morning it wasn’t too bad.

Tasty breakfast at a reasonable price. No frills dining experience. Stopped in on a whim while passing through the area. Was not disappointed at all. Thanks!

Great food, lovingly prepared. Generous portions. Clean and inviting premises. My favorite? That's hard but I would say the corned beef hash with a side of home fries. The home fries are the best I've ever had

Could be bigger. But good food. Nice people. If you pass it stop in. Pancakes is the size of a so cal Mexican lowrider rim.
