Angie's: A Cozy Coffee Shop and Restaurant

If you're looking for a small, cozy place to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch, Angie's is the perfect spot. This family-owned coffee shop and restaurant is located at 336 N Elm St in Torrington, Connecticut. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Angie's is primarily a breakfast and brunch spot, but it also serves lunch. The menu is simple but delicious, with classic breakfast dishes like pancakes, omelets, and French toast. Customers rave about the blueberry Texas French toast and the western omelet, which is stuffed with ham, peppers, onions, and cheese. The portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry.

The coffee at Angie's is also worth mentioning. It's freshly brewed and pairs perfectly with the breakfast dishes. The restaurant also serves other beverages like tea and juice.

Angie's is a small place, so it can get crowded during peak hours. However, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, but it's open from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Saturdays, it's open from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, and on Sundays, it's open from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

If you're in the Torrington area and looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch, Angie's is definitely worth a visit. It's a small gem that offers great food and excellent service at a reasonable price.

Amazing!! Everything was amazing, amazing food and amazing service. Best breakfast I've had in a long time!! I fully recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful breakfast experience!

This unassuming storefront hides the best breakfast in town and it's not even close. Crispy hash, enormous pancakes, and a great variety of daily specials. Don't get me wrong, it's the familiar diner food, but everything on the plate is the best version of what it could be.

Wonderful and friendly owner, great food and great prices!!! I was more than happy to give Angie's the business for my morning breakfast at work, rather than a chain restaurant!!!

Every time I can come to Torrington, I look forward to coming to Angie’s. The food is delicious and the service makes me feel like home. Her home fries are so good. I love coming to Angie’s.

I wouldn't even give it a star if that was an option. Over priced and never got my food. I went as a group of 5. 4 adults and 1 infant. everybody ordered pancakes and sides. 3 adults got their pancakes and sides and i waited and waited and waited for mine. My sides came out but never my pancakes. My whole table was done by time the ONE waitress for that whole building said they should be out shortly. We waited another 5 minutes and i finally told her to just box the pancakes instead of holding my group up. We were there from 10:30am till 12:30 just waiting for breakfast. Next time i will be dining at the best breakfast place in town, Scarpelli's.

The hash browns were a bit crispier than I would have preferred, and the Charming waitress was a bit overworked, being the only front of house staff while we were there. I went with a traditional egg sandwich which was quite tasty and reasonably priced. Next time, I might try one of their breakfast specials. The churro French toast, and the Pumpkin Spice pancakes, as seen at the table next to ours, looked and smelled as delicious as they sounded. Certainly willing to give it another try.

Good food. Don't chase you out after you finish your food. Great little place.

Don't let the appearance of this retro shopping plaza deter you from one of the best breakfasts you could ever have. The inside seating arrangement is casual old school with booths, tables and countertops. Angie's is eclectically decorated with memorabilia and regulars who cheer for contestants on "the price is right". The menu is your basic breakfast and lunch staples with a blackboard of daily specials. I ordered a veggie omelette and my husband ordered pancakes. My omelette was perfect. It was packed with fresh vegetables none of which were soggy or had that 'day old' feel. The home fries were crispy, hot and seasoned perfectly. The pancakes were so good alone all they needed was a plop of butter, the syrup wasn't even necessary. I highly recommend Angie's and if I ever find myself in Torrington again I will definitely be back.
