Rumors is such a great spot in Danbury! Every time my BF and I are shopping or nearby we make it a point to stop in. The coffee & teas are great! The first time we stopped in the person helping us was so lovely and we had a delicious mini banana bread loaf. They have a cup size called the bucket (we still compare other large drink sizes to the bucket)! If you're looking for a cute tea/coffee shop with small pastries stop into Rumors!
Great cafe, inviting atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious unique coffees/teas, and delectable pastries. I had the banana foster but with tea latte instead of coffee latte and the gluten free magic bar. Amazing! Wish I lived closer so I could become a regular.
Great coffee, great atmosphere and great service! I had a cinnabun swirl latte and a banana nutella crepe and my fiance had a salted caramel latte and a cheese croissant. Everything was delicious!
We found this adorable coffee house by chance when passing by the area. Peter, the owner was super friendly and the coffees and baked goods were fresh and tasty. I’m so happy we had this option instead of a Starbucks!!! We’ll definitely be back next time we are close by.
Cute place!! Good vibe & atmosphere, however, the Americanos were very weak. Maybe we should have let them make them with water?? We have never been asked if we want the water all the way up. Don't know what that means! Spent $10 on what tastes like McDonald's regular coffee. (Feeling spoiled by our little town Joe Beans coffee caboose!)
The guy who seemingly runs the place is so nice! The coffee was also super fantastic. There's a little gift shop set up for the purchase of some soaps and randoms which is nice to have for people seeking souvenirs perhaps. Then, there are photos of dogs on the walls and that does it for me. Again, coffee was so delicious!
A really friendly place to frequent either alone, with friends, or with your partner! The baristas and owner are very LGBT+ friendly and try to make sure their cafe is a respectful, safe place for everyone.
The general interior has a lot of warm colors and feels homey with a variety of seating and tables so that each area feels special. The walls are decorated with art from local artists, most of which are available for purchase. The owner has a bit of a Star Wars theme going with some of his decorations.
Each barista has their own unique taste of music that they play while working and the owner is a very nice guy that's easy to converse and get along with.
They can make any of their specialty drinks into iced drinks, which is super nice, and they offer vegan baked goods among regular ones that are just as tasty! A good place to go if you want coffee or tea with something sweet to eat.
It can get loud at times when it's busy/packed but will always quiet down relatively quickly. They have a large array of table-top games that customers are free to play while they're here, so it's great for small groups. They can do small, private events, just call and speak to the owner about it. I believe they also do to-go orders if you call in advance, but don't quote me on that.
Dog-friendly as long as the dog isn't very big, is well-behaved/friendly with strangers.

Great coffee! I loved everything I’ve tried so far. I love to go there when Pete is there. My favorite one is dark side cappuccino. He’s the best!
