Today’s travel took us to Danbury we were trying to get out of the heat and I’m on a mission to practice my photography so we stopped at Rumors European Cafe for some coffee and a snack. It’s a cute little cafe and although it was hot in there it was definitely better then being outside. One sip of that latte and I quickly regretted not getting a large. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area. They also have a tower of board games. Final cost for coffee, a latte, a bottle of water, muffin, and brownie which was gluten-free by the way $15
I don't know if I came on a bad day, but my cappuccino tasted VERY watered down with basically no flavor. I was disappointed in the beverage, but I will say that the interior is awesome and has a very home-like atmosphere. There are board games everywhere so if you run out of things to talk about with whoever you go with, you always have another option ;)!
I love it here! Great place to work or chill and read a book. Great drink menu. Nice seating area outside too if you want to sit in the sunshine! I added a photo of the camp fire latte here from my last visit 😄
Love it. Recommended to me by a coworker and almost immediately became my regular coffee stop. Specialty drinks are all pretty delicious. Large iced coffees come in a tub for those who drink it year round and multiple dairy options are available with milk, cream, and nut choices. The pastries are also tasty with vegan and gluten free options. The staff is friendly, funny, and knows how to get you caffeinated.
Between all that and the atmosphere it's exactly what I picture in my head when I think of a local coffee shop. Most stand out moment was being asked if my drink was too dark. I don't like a lot of milk so little things like that make a difference to my experience.
My first time here was very early in the morning when they opened so I didnt see much of a selection of pastries but I did get a coffee and it was pretty good.
Such a unique experience! Pete is such a nice guy. Friendly atmosphere. Cool, eclectic vibe. Tons of choices! I got the classy lady. 8 milk options! Holy cow! I've had the crepes on a past visit, they are delish. Pastry options available. Indoor and outdoor seating. The have a rewards program too. Will definitely be coming back! If you are looking for something different and a cool place to get great food and chill, I highly recommend it.
This is a cafe with a nice ambience, small but homelike. Service is always great, the staff is very friendly. However, the coffee can be iffy. Usually get the cafe au lait or a latte, simple drinks but those don't always taste the same. The bakery stuff is good, chocolate chip muffin and coffee cake are definitely worth a try.
What a fabulous place to stumble upon! The owner is exceptionally helpful and friendly. With his recommendation, I tried the hot Dario (two shots of espresso with Nutella) and my wife got the Nonna’s Biscotti iced (latte with amaretto, orange, and almond). The Dario is rich with flavor and not too sweet. The Biscotti has a nice hint of the flavors with none overpowering the drink. We’ll definitely visit again when we’re in the area
This is our first visit and I already know the next visit can’t be too long from now. We will absolutely be back! Best coffee I’ve ever had. Hands down.
