Just all around best coffee in Connecticut. Great flavors , freshly roasted beans, I'm not really big on coffee but appreciate a cup here& there. I'm in a low carb /sugar deal& i like their sugar free syrups & iced cappuccinos.

If you want great quality coffee this is the place to go. If your lucky enough to be there while the roasting is going on it is a great smell. You can also talk to the roaster and get all kinds of great info on different types of coffee as he is a wealth of info. The prices are fair and well worth it. I will continue to go there for my coffee and think you should too.

Such an adorable shop. I really loved the people and the atmosphere. There are TONS of flavors and a super helpful staff to help you navigate them. I want to give it five stars, but I can't because I felt that the styrofoam cups would keep me from going back. I know it keeps the coffee warm, but I'd rather a more sustainable option that doesn't leave an impact long after my coffee is gone.

Awesome place. They have the absolute best coffee I've had since moving to Connecticut 9 years ago. They are better than Starbucks, or any coffee places I've sampled in New Haven or the Farmington Valley. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and although the space for sitting is not as large as Starbucks it is orders of magnitude better. The ambience is wonderful. I almost feel like I should keep this place a secret.

A hidden gem! Right on route 44 in Avon. On certain days the aroma of coffee beans being roasted fills the air. Great place for coffee. The shop is filled with antiques, there is a cute little room in the back with a few tables and chair where you can sit and enjoy the newspaper with a great cup of coffee and a cookie or two. Favorite spot. There is outdoor seating, a few tables and chairs. Great little gem.

Entering The Coffee Trade is an experience for your nose! There's a roaster just inside the door that promises your coffee will be excellent. And it is. Curios abound, so there's plenty to look at. $10 min for paying with plastic. I drank French Roast and was very pleased

The coffee trade is a quaint little shop that has antiques and others oddities. But the real draw is the coffee. It's roasted right there in the shop and if you're lucky, it will be roasting during your visit.
I buy the beans and grind then fresh. There are a variety of flavors and various blends. I highly recommend the place

Store is old, cluttered with outdated furniture and 'vintage' pieces and the owners are rude and slow-to-serve. The coffee may be a little cheaper but, as they say, quality is always better than quantity. For a better coffee experience I strongly suggest you visit Dom's which is directly opposite.

Amazing little coffee shop. Some of the best coffee I have ever had. A number of wonderful blends and flavors to choose from for home use or just grabbing a cup. By far my favorite coffee shop in the Farmington Valley. Friendly and helpful staff makes every trip a delight.
