Wonderful little shop, amazing coffee, and the smell when you walk in is incredible! The coffee is very reasonably priced and they will grind it for you. The antiques and little gifts they offer are cute as well. Would definitely recommend a visit! The staff is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable.

If you like your coffee to taste more like smoke than coffee this is the spot for you. The coconut cold brew iced coffee doesn’t have any flavor in it other than Smokey. Comes in a hot coffee cup for an iced option. Honestly disappointed I spent 4$ on the iced coffee. Not good at all.

Popped in after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, the double shot cappuccinos we ordered arrived in gigantic 20 OZ (nearly 600ml) cups, filled nearly to the top, and tasted stale, bitter and / or burnt. We promptly disposed of them (wasting $11) and went across the road to Dom's for excellent artisan coffee. The shop is quaint and the Roastery leaves a pleasant aroma.

The coffee is just incredible! We collect coffee from lot of places and this is certainly one of the best we have tasted! really really good and the variety is mind blowing! the antique shop is such a treasure trove and transports you to the bygone eras! such a staggering display of the cutest things in a relatively small place! but most of all i’d say that the folks who own and run it are gems of human beings! such welcoming and awesome folks! it’s a must visit if you are in Avon or take a trip just for the coffee, some hiking and art around that area!

The staff knows you by name, and are sweet as pie. I love looking at all the antiques for sale creatively decorated around the store. They have a wide variety of Harney and Sons teas too, along with coffee and tea accessories. This is my favorite place to go for coffee (and a little secret.......I actually work at Starbucks....and the staff know this) . Nothing beats the smell of the freshly roasted coffee beans on a cold winter morning. There's a gigantic coffee roaster in the Cafe, and it's fun to watch when they're roasting coffee ☕.

This place is overwhelming… in a good way.

When you walk in, you’re introduced to a slew of things covering wall to wall of Knick Knacks, Trinkets, coffee/tea tools, collectibles, and products.

In the left corner literally at the entrance, you can occasionally bump into the coffee Roastmaster tending to the roaster. He wasn’t present at the time during my visit, but many have told me that he is someone you’d want to meet to get an idea of how their whole system works.

My understanding of the process: Coffee beans are roasted daily with different varieties. There’s actually a chart of the available single origin and blends on board in the rear right side of the shop. Take your time, there’s a lot of options.

At the front counter, you will see across the top many flavorings that you’ve an add to your coffee, followed by a Daily special on a small white board on the right side.

You cannot choose among the many blends to brew if you’re interested in ordering a drink of a particular blend, however you can sample the daily special upon request.

I didn’t check this part, but you can actually make your way to the back of the shop where the antiques are displayed and you can sit in one of the tables to enjoy your drink.

If you’re going to visit, I highly suggest you at least buy a bag of beans, (preferably whole bean in my opinion). Nothing else in town (as far as I’m aware) can get as fresh of coffee beans as buying one that was probably roasted a few hours ago. As an espresso enjoyer, the freshest is best albeit you might need to wait a week to let the beans off-gas a bit (they’re quite bitter if too much CO2).

As a side note, there is a subscription service you can opt-in where you can get coffee picked up or mailed periodically, and it’s surprisingly a really good deal.

Overall, it’s my new favorite place even though I’ve only been there twice. It’s not often I get a roastries this conveniently close to home, and I’ve lived along the entire east coast for over 20 years.

I have been going to the Coffee Trade for years. Aside from being outstanding people they have the best coffee around. They roast it in the shop and it's always fresh. I like dark roast and their Mexican dark roast is my favorite. I also get French roast decaf and you can't tell it's decaffeinated by the flavor. They will grind your coffee any way you want it. Their prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the coffee.

This shop is so cute and inviting! ...but more importantly, the coffee is fantastic! Everyone here is nice and helpful. Had a great experience getting a cup of coffee and buying some bags for later.

Oh I love this place!! The owners are amazing and so are their staff!! Let's not forget the coffee!!! Beans are roasted in house!! I love cream and sugar but often I get it black here to enjoy the rich flavors of the different coffees!! This is my forever coffee spot!
