All coffee is roasted in house. You can see their roaster and it smells amazing. You can buy beans whole or they will grind them for you to any consistency. Cups of coffee are also sold, any style you want. While enjoying coffee you can sit and look around their antique shop. There are a few cozy places to sit inside and a lovely patio outside.

Really nice place for coffee..brewed and whole bean..rosted right in front of you..the people are great..friendly..well worth a trip.

Only place I buy my coffee beans -- even in the winter crossing the mountain from West Hartford. People are great, coffee excellent, experience often includes beans roasting right before your eyes. Can't resist any place with the blunt sign: "Be nice... or leave." Oh yeah.

My new go-to coffee place!! Super friendly service and so much variety it’ll make your head spin. That being said, they can always make a recommendation if you’re feeling overwhelmed. A rotating slate of roasts of the day keep things interesting and varied. Plenty of sweet drinks, cold brews, and shots for those people who like their coffee a little different. Also sugar free options! I highly recommend The Coffee Trade!

Plenty of parking in a lot behind the building and don’t worry if you have to make a left out of their lot, the light timing makes it very easy!

Family owned and operated coffee roaster and gift shop. Comfy place to stop with friends for a fresh brewed cup of coffee, espresso or wide variety of flavored iced coffee or latte's. They always treat you like family. Join the coffee club and buy your choice of roasts from around world.

Cute little coffee shop plus antique store. Coffee was good. No pastries in the display, a few packaged cookies, and for realz nothing gluten-free. Sad.

They gave me a hot latte instead of iced, and I was too lazy to go back in when I noticed. Good coffee, though. Friendly folks.

There are no words for this place. I think they roast the best coffee in the country. Not to mention everyone is so friendly! I’ve lived out of town for the past 10ish years and always make it a priority to get to the Coffee Trade as often as I can. Now that I’m moving back closer (Rocky Hill) I’ll be making the trip up far more often. I don’t care if gas is $7/gallon. I’m getting my graham cracker cold brew

Best local coffee roaster. Been going here for close to a decade. If you buy pounds of coffee, be sure you get added to their membership book to earn towards a free pound.

Also good to-go coffee. A good place to hang out, they have a ton of interesting antiques.

I couldn't drink that coffee. Also there is a coffee roaster in the coffeeshop which looks cool but it seems like they are burning coffee there. It smells really burnt maybe that's why it tastes like that. The place itself is cute, they have a nice shop, just wish their coffee tasted better.

It's so good! I'm literally in love! The experience is half the reason I go, the folks who work there are so sweet. I have never once had a bad coffee here. I wish I found about this lovely place sooner
Edit: The back rooms are open now! They are so cute!!! Joan decorates them herself :)
