Windsor Lake Coffee

Had a to go order already paid for, went to get it and the staff refused to give me my food because I didn’t have a mask. Instead, they refunded me my money and trashed the food I ordered. I understand that they have a right to request guest to wear mask but it’s kind of a mute point when the have multiple groups of people sitting at tables maskless with no social distancing. In the rest of Colorado you can go maskless if you’re vaccinated but I guess not at the Windsor Lake Coffee House even though they don’t adhere to social distancing recommendations.

They have delicious ice cream but always seem to be out of the good ice cream flavors.

Windsor Lake Coffee is probably my favorite spot in downtown Windsor. I love getting breakfast there on weekends and appreciate that they have gluten free options. The waffle sandwich is my husband's favorite. We enjoy getting a cup of coffee or icecream to go and taking a walk around beautiful Windsor Lake afterwards. The merchandise they sell is great too. My dining table centerpiece was purchased there from Miller Made Candles. It's also very refreshing that they are talking Covid seriously and do a great job of protecting customers and staff. This place is a treasure!!

Staff was rude when I walked in for our first time there. Walked in, was the only customer there with my wife and was not greeted while we looked around at some of the items in the store. Not sure if my American flag sweater had something to do with it (based on the political signs posted on the front and walk up windows)...but hey every one has their own opinions. Then when we walked up the cashier she said, "do you know what you want?".....there was no, "Thank you for coming in today how can I help you, or thanks for coming in how are you this morning!" Very unwelcoming atmosphere and employees. Coffee I ordered was a 4 out of 10 and my wife's was a 6 out of 10. With a mistake or semi bad experience I always give a second chance but will NOT return. 1 star experience. 2 star coffee.

Such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and make it a personal experience. Also dog friendly which is most important to me.

We like this place. We've had two good visits and today's was a little disappointing. Our latte's didn't have much espresso and mine was luke warm. Regrettably we didn't try our drinks until we were well on our way and it didn't work to go back.

I am obsessed! I get lunch here every Friday and every time I get something different. I have never once been disappointed and the ladies who work there are so friendly and sweet. Very welcoming. I highly recommend trying the quiche :)

This place has amazing ice cream. Definitely worth stopping in and getting ice cream and hanging out. You have to try the salted oreo and salted caramel peanut butter. Their waffle cones are awesome. They have great service as well!

Love the variety of drinks and food here. Nice atmosphere also.
