I wish I could give this place zero stars. The owner was extremely rude from the moment we walked in, looking visibly irritated when we tried to order and making unnecessarily snide remarks. In the 20 minutes we were there, 2 other tables left because of his terrible and rude behavior. On our way out the door, the owner had the audacity to yell “Nice manners!” at us after he walked away when we tried to pay. It’s hard to express how terribly rude and unprofessional the owner was, but please know this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Save your money and go elsewhere!!

Long time Manitou resident! Waited a 1/2 hour for a cup of coffee and an hour for our breakfast! Owner standing at the cash register counting his receipts the entire time rather than helping his understaffed employees and he was very rude and snarky when we asked if they forgot our order!! When it finally arrived tasted like microwave burrito!! Never going back there!! :((

We decided to grab breakfast and a cup of coffee at Good Karma and didn't leave disappointed. We each enjoyed a cup of fresh coffee before ordering a mix of options. Blueberry pancakes were thick, fluffy, with a light crisp edge. French Toast with a hint of vanilla (I think) was a winner. I also enjoyed a traditional two egg breakfast while my wife tried a breakfast burrito. More importantly thank the food we enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly conversation with the owner. Cool artwork and interior make for a unique and classy experience.

AMAZING!!! Had the most wonderful simple breakfast and a drink. It was beyond delightful. I felt at home even though I am visiting from NY. Food and menu and space are awesome. Great artwork and Rae (owner) and kaelynn were so kind. Great conversation. Couldn't love this place more. Highly recommend !!! Thanks again!

Tried to go buy coffee and use the restroom but the owner was so rude that we left. He assumed we were homeless and was very rude/aggressive. My girlfriend and I went to a shop down the road and spent our $100 there. Nothing but bad vibes from this place.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE! When we came in the owner rolled his eyes when the bridal party came in. We sat at the small table ordered our drinks and watched him as he yelled at a woman and her 2 children for leaving due to his behavior. Another group came in and he snapped at them regarding where they needed to sit to the point they left. Completely uncomfortable environment that we decided to leave. We paid and as we left he yell at our group "NICE MANNERS!" We couldn't believe it! NEVER EVER RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

I really hate leaving bad reviews and only do it when the experience is really bad. We arrived when they opened and were planning on eating there, but they kept taking other tables orders before ours. When we politely said, "excuse me" to the gentleman working he huffed and rolled his eyes at us. They were suddenly slammed, but that behavior towards costumers who want to pay and be there is not "good karma". We left what we thought we owed for our untouched coffee and went to Red Dog and got food right away.

They are open earlier if you just want coffee. Food starts at 9. I thought they were closed until 9 for the past year and a half then today found out I could have been getting coffee if I'd checked the door that states "shut". I do enjoy their food and ambiance. I like the local and wholesome focus. I wanted tea but didn't see a clear menu for it and accidently ordered a latte thinking English garden must be a tea latte, it is not. I'll go again and just inquire and not worry about rushing. Friendly staff! They have alternative milks but didn't appear to have gluten free pastries.
