Monk & Mongoose Coffee Co

First time customers. Had to wait for our drinks while others who ordered after us got theirs. Coffee was too expensive too be so bland. Guy taking orders not real friendly, seemed bothered by me asking if they had hazelnut. Wouldn't recommend.

really cool shop. clean and minimal interior. some sweet outdoor seating. they have great ethical values. baristas were very talented and gave great customer service. oh and the coffee is delicious.

Great atmosphere, slightly loud when busy but great music that's quiet enough to have a conversation. Plugins available. Staff was sweet and wonderful. Drinks were so tasty and they even have seasonal options. Loved the matcha with lavender! Will definitely go back

Monk & Mongoose in the Landmark is a nice coffee shop. They have all of the classics and some food options as well. I typically order an espresso with the soda water and a Cold Brew. The staff is friendly and the coffee is always good. Patio is nice when the weather is good.

Great coffee shop with it's own flavor. Enjoyed two mochas and a morning here with a friend. Would recommend if you are looking to visit a local coffee place!

I love supporting small coffee shops and the ambience of Monk & Mongoose is awesome. However, I just paid $7.63 for a coffee smaller than a Starbucks Grande. They charge a $1.50 for oat milk and $1.25 for their honey blossom syrup (of which I had maybe a pump of). I'm sorry, but I can't justify paying this much money for such a small coffee! It's really unfortunate, I love this place but they are WAY overcharging. 😞

I am a big advocate on helping baristas get better by letting them know when their drink is not good.

I have been coming to the location consistently for the last 2 years, but recently the new baristas I have seen in there on the weekends need some more “practice” and focus on making the drink first and talk to each other later. Coffee should be made with intentionally not rushed.

I also came in the day before and the same barista clearly heard my order and she still got it wrong and said she “I thought you wanted it iced”…I was the only customer she had to help that day as well..

🤨 I’ll be back but definitely don’t want this location to decline in quality baristas..because this location has been too easy come to.. I really don’t want to have to drive to the other location just because the current baristas are getting paid to be regular.
