I’ve been coming to M&M for years, this particular location is much less slow than the Lone Tree one. Beautiful coffee shop that serves beautiful cups of coffee and delicious food/snacks.
The people are nice, the place stays really clean. Outdoor seating available.

Monk is hands down one of the best, if not the best, coffeeshop in Denver. All their syrups are made in house making their Vanilla Latte my favorite, their batch is pretty solid too! What makes it even better is that their employees are the BEST! The GM Jaimee is dope along with the rest of the employees! Cannot recommend this place enough! 👌

Sweet potato and maple latte was really good. Not too busy and the barista was really friendly. They didn't have oat milk but I got a coconut milk alternative. Will be back! Also they have merch you can purchase and an indoor fireplace:)

Monk and Mongoose is where it's at! There aren't a ton of non-chain, more local type coffee shops in the DTC, but Monk and Mongoose is all you really need. Their lattes are amazing—smooth, rich, and creamy. I went out on a whim the other day and tried their seasonal cranberry mocha. I don't typically like sweet coffee drinks, but this was the perfect balance of flavor and sweetness. The cranberry, chocolate, and espresso paired well together. I would describe this flavor combination as exotic. It was absolutely delicious and I wish it wasn't seasonal.

Outstanding Coffee and Pastries! The people were absolutely amazing and super friendly. I love the unique atmosphere and this will definitely not be the last time I visit this place☕😍

Love Monk & Mongoose. Some of the best coffee in the metro Denver region, and they often offer our 1 year old daughter a small cup to play with. Makes her day, and today the barista drew hearts on it! Great bright atmosphere and patio. Wonderful, kind baristas that make an effort to remember your name and make you feel welcome. Try the fall recipes.

SMOOTH COFFEE, amazing baristas, great drinks, even the house made seasonal syrups. This is a repeated coffee guilty pleasure for me. Both locations are amazing. I am a Seattle- native, so I know my coffee. Starbucks drinker beware- this is not a place for you, this is more for real coffee drinkers 😉

Coffee is great, baristas are kind. Always busy so be prepared to wait for seating.

Depends on what you order. Iced drinks may get tap water added. Why they can’t use Eldorado Springs or another Colorado brand of spring water is beyond me. I don’t care for chlorine residue in my coffee.

Glad I came across this place! It's down the street from a business mastermind I go to twice a month, and I've started leaving the house early so each time I can stop in here and grab a latte and chill for a while beforehand.
The coffee is spot-on, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, and the baristas are great. As an example: like I mentioned I'm only in here a couple times per month, and naturally there's different staff on duty on different days. Even so, last time I was there the barista apologized for not remembering my name. Like, I couldn't even tell you when the last time I saw HER was, but she clearly recognized me and felt the need to apologize for not remembering my name. How thoughtful can you get?!
And, to top it all off, they're a local company rather than a worldwide behemoth, so you can feel good about spending your money here.
There's also a really interesting timeline of the history of coffee painted on the wall, which explains where the name Monk & Mongoose came from.
Thanks guys! Looking forward to many more enjoyable visits.
