Aspen Art Museum

I gave two stars because it was free or else absolutely one star. It is an expensively looking but empty bird cage (the facade). Inside more than half of it was closed due to ongoing installation. Basement had three video rooms (you have to try hard to understand what the videos are about) and an exhibit featuring one chandelier. The first floor has a really tiny room of exhibits themed “mountain time”. Step inside the stuff member’s eye will follow your every move—not his fault, there really isn’t much room for him to direct his eyes. It’s a pity —such an unusually and fancy looking place hosted so little art. I enjoyed Aspen galleries much more than this place.

Amazing contemporary art museum, located in the heart of Aspen.

Aspen Art Museum was a fun way to explore the artistic side of Aspen. The exterior is beautiful and the exhibits were really nice. I loved the set up and it helps that entry is free!

Love this museum. There’s always something good on display, and something not quite my taste.

An incredible gem with super exhibits, friendly staff and a remarkable roof top restaurant with magical views

First time visiting the museum. Happen to find this gem during a classical music festival.

Worth checking out when in aspen. Cool events all the time. Rooftop cafe is cool.

Good place to spend some time enjoying some unique pieces of art. Admission is free. Don't forget to check out the views from the top patio.

Appreciate its architcture... As for the artifact, I was like😳🤔🙄😩😳🙄, and you have to resist the feeling... do not touch anything!!! Or you will be drag into RIPPLE EFFECT😃😄😄
