Great place! Would love to see it become more of a local hub of innovation, art workshops, and lectures similiar to Anderson Ranch Art Center. It's a beautiful space that is underutilized.

Amazing contemporary art museum. I've seen some of my favorite exhibits here: Warhol, Mary Weatherford's 'Neon Paintings' and the local kids showcase. It's incredible that this museum is FREE to visit (thank you to the donor who made that possible). Huge thanks to the AAM team.

The staff is extremely friendly. The Warhol show was amazing. I can't wait to go back!

Aspen is blessed with having such an art museum. Shigeru Ban, the winner of 2014 Pritzker Prize, built this Art Museum. The architecture reflects his philosophy.
The outside world is seamlessly connected with the museum and lots of sunshine pass through the inside. The architecture incorporates paper, wood, and glasses and transforms itself into transcendent nature.
The museum is free. There is a cafe on the 3rd floor which has an astonishing view of Aspen downtown and the mountain.

Great museum! All of the workers were very knowledgeable and very helpful. The art was emasculate and perfectly set. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

A MUST VISIT!
There are a few times in all of human history that a visionary clearly sees the human potential and reality. The Aspen Art Museum is the portal envisioned by such visionary. Here, in this sacred ground, humanity is given the opportunity to tune in and dive in to the immense possibilities of being fully alive. We have traveled across the cosmos on this rock called earth and now in Aspen, we dare revel in the very creativity the journey has brought forth. We shall return here to the Aspen Art Museum over and over again to celebrate and be deliciously celebrated.
And if you want to taste something delicious and out of this world during your visit try the museum's cafe, I recommend the Veggie Ramen Bowl. Its broth is a bouquet of subtle flavors that will comfort your soul and the veggies are crisp and flavorful. The service wait staff is simply some of the best in the world.
The gift shop has been re-imagined as an exhibit and you can shop and purchase unique artful collectibles as I always do.

Awesome place if you need to get work done or drinks/snacks with a view! The music is great too! Had the chips with Yuzu aioli that was superb.

The top floor cafe is a great spot to grab a quick bite. On a nice day, the pocket doors open and it’s completely indoor/outdoor. The service is incredible and the food simple, and tasteful.

Beautiful building and a staff that is kind and passionate but the exhibits are God awful. In a city with so much talent and small galleries it's disappointing for the museum to exclusively curate pretentious modern gobbledegook.
