Came here for a Saturday brunch with the reservation at 11am. The place was freezing!!! Thus one star off. I think the crew could've turned on the heater first to warm up the room before the guests arrival. The food was quite tasty and we got the famous fried chicken for the main course. But for me the star of the meal was the white chocolate pudding which was incredibly light with just the right amount of sweetness and milk infused flavor. What a delight.

Great flavors, loud and fun to share family style with the table.

Oh definitely skip lunch to come here. Beet salad was so good. And the fried chicken was worth it!! Mac and cheese with lobster is super delicious. Potato salad was pretty plain, that was a disappointment. The chocolate cake shake was alright, I prefer darker more chocolate flavor.
The dinner menu is set.
You will need to make a reservation.

Delicious food and a very American homey feel in the restaurant. The dishes are served family style and dish sizes will be accounted for by the amount of people in your party. The menu is a fixed price and changes throughout the week. Great food for the price and the portions are generous.

This is not a mean review it’s an honest review. I ate at Ad Hoc on April 1st, reopening night. Everything about the experience was average at best. Drinks, food and service; all average. I wish I could say it was outstanding.

Best Keller restaurant in Yountville and one of the best restaurants I have been to. You are served a fixed menu family style that changes every day. Very casual place and staff is amazing. Our menu consisted of a wild rice soup, fried skirt steak, egg fried rice, pretzel and Gouda cheese board, ice cream with various syrup and pecans, and a lemon cupcake. Every single item on the menu was perfect and couldn't be happier that I went there. Expect to spend about 80-100 a person but we'll worth it.

Seems to be overly complicated with the menu around the fried chicken.
While the staff is accommodating, it’s just overly complicated that even on days when fried chicken is available it needs to be purchased as a $30 add on / not a substitute for an item on the Prix fix menu.

I'd trust whatever menu that they put together. On our night it was a green bean salad, strip steak with mashed potatoes and veggies, a cheddar cheese and pickles plate, and homemade sundaes. Staff was excellent as well, the courses were perfectly timed and they were attentive throughout the meal. Lots of parking in their lot and along the street. I'll definitely try to hit them up again next time I'm in Napa. Weekend nights might need a reservation a little farther in advance but they were pretty open when we went on a Sunday.

Our visit on 2/24 was our 12th visit to Ad Hoc. Up until now it has been one of our favorite Napa dinner spots. We have been to French Laundry as well as Bouchon and stay at Hotel Yountville because of our love for the Keller restaurants. This visit was very disappointing. VERY POOR SERVICE (we felt rushed and did not receive the incredible experience we have enjoyed at every Chef Keller property). The food was sub par and flavorless. When we shared our experience with our host at one of the Harlan properties on Saturday as well as the hotel front desk they both unfortunately said that they have heard the same thing lately. This review is not meant to discourage people from visiting, it is to hopefully encourage the management team to take a close look at what is happening. We look forward to returning in the fall and hope for a better experience.

Braised Beef Short Rib were amazing. Fourth time visiting Ad-Hoc. I love the Fried Chicken but the Short Rib melted in your mouth. Worth every penny. Always friendly and professional staff. Take your date for a great meal. Been to Ad Hoc
at least 6 times since the last review. Food and service has always been great. But I noticed one thing on our most recent stop. I know its a family style service but now they seem to give just enough and mean just enough food. For close to $400.00 plus tip for 5 people. It felt like we had the minimum amount of food for 5 people. We have had lunch and the portions seemed larger.
