We had a nice meal with a great wine pairing. Portion sizes were a little exaggerated in my opinion.

What decent restaurant let's you order cocktails and then immediately delivers your first course and wine? This place just churns through customers. Food is okay. Wait staff is so so. They are to say "enjoy" when delivering items but most of the time it was said in a way that seemed like they really didn't mean it. For a Thomas Keller restaurant I'd say it sucks.

Flies all over the dining room area, crawling over the food and the plates... the bathroom was also very unsanitary. At any price point this would be bad - it feels especially shocking when this is supposed to be a Thomas Keller restaurant. We had someone wipe down our table twice, but it felt strange that the bathrooms were completely neglected and there were no fans to deal with the fly problem.
The waiters and waitresses seemed stressed and as a result the mood seemed tense. I've worked in retail and in the food service industry and I understand it can be very draining - but it definitely felt like a bad experience considering we were spending hundreds of dollars for our meal as a group.
The food was okay, we went on fried chicken night. The chicken itself was delicious, but the batter in my opinion was flavorless and way too heavy. If you go to chicken night, notice how many dishes are being sent back with loads of batter leftovers still on the plate. It needed some spice or some sweetness. Anything to make it taste less bland. The zucchini and bone marrow were the highlights.
The experience was extremely underwhelming. Lots of people are saying this is a good value - I am afraid I disagree, considering the lack of cleanliness and the service.

Finally made it here to try their fried chicken. Not sure what they do, but "YUM"! It is bomb chicken that leaves your taste buds satisfied. Will be back

The opportunity to reasonably eat at a Thomas Keller restaurant was something we could not pass up while in Yountville, and were so glad that we didn’t! Ad Hoc is a delicious option to get the Thomas Keller flavors at a reasonable price, and the fried chicken was some of the best I have ever had! Make plans to go for lunch and you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service and large portions. Deliberately limited menu but still plenty of options.

Exceptional food and service. I enjoyed their Prix Fix menu (photo attached). The bartender was warm and knowledgeable! Overall great experience.

This is so far the best fried chicken in the Bay Area! The seasoning was just right, chicken was juicy and tender and crispy outside. It worth a trip to get there!

Really enjoyed but we were so tired from travel I wish we had chosen another evening. Romaine salad with avocado, heirloom tomato and green goddess dressing was delicious. Entrees of flat iron steak and Nashville Chicken both good. Cheese course was a highlight. We were so full we could hardly enjoy dessert of brownie w/ caramel and vanilla ice cream. Service fast and attentive. Wine by the glass limited w good local choices. If it’s just 2 people dining I would not recommend the supplement. It’s just too much food. All in all good!

Not at all what i expected. The first course was an ordinary salad, the second course was a well-cooked short rib but with a dense fatty dyad for our taste and they were accompanied by very dangerous padrón peppers, they were not well selected and turned out to be a torture because they were very very spicy (and for a Mexican who likes and tolerates spicy flavors LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRRED) and they did not allow me to enjoy the following bites, in my opinion they can be harmful for people who are not used to spicy. The eggplant tartin was very ordinary the manchego style cheese was simple . A correct wine pairing and yes, the dessert was delicious
