Contra Costa Coffee featuring Ginger's Gelato

Not a normal cafe that sells cheap tea packs with hot water. They get lose tea leaves and brew them with timer.

I asked him if the coffee was fresh and he said he had just made it. It was sitting on the counter not on the heater. I drove away with the coffee which was lukewarm almost cold yuck. He knew exactly that he was serving me the last of the cold coffee. He never even offered a refund. Never going back. No wonder small shops like this go out of business.

Delicious gelato made on site. Lemon 👍! Croissant flaked and was probably one of the better ones I've had in a long time. The owner was super friendly and has a beautiful French accent.

Absolutely delicious! They give a waffle chip with every cup, that was a recipe of the owner's mother. Everything is made in store. They have a really good variety of flavors too!

Had the peanut butter chocolate and my son had the one with raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry. The kids working there were super nice and very helpful. 10/10 on service and deliciousness

I love this place. Why? Because they're the only gelato place that makes my favorite flavor, Fruit de Bosco. I think it means fruits of the forest. It's mixed berries. Does John are here it's extremely good. The only way to get a better gelato is to have it in Italy. And that's better there because they are allowed to use raw milk in Italy and most other European countries.

Best coffee in bay area! I love latte here. Can't find any place better than this. Coffee beans are also very good.

This is the rose genmaicha. It’s so bright and delightful!

I tried the pistachio and the salted caramel. Both were excellent. The gelato seemed light and fresh, not having the icy outer slime that other gelato places seem to have.

Such great gelato! All the flavors are great but the mint stracciatella is outstanding
