I came here in March and was having a super bad day. The day continued to be bad later on, but the one bright spot was Contra Costa Coffee. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and helpful. We were there for ~1 hour and she didn't hint that we should leave at any point. The food was really delicious and surprisingly filling. If you're in the area and in need of a caffeinated pick-me-up, or just want to grab a quick and tasty bite to eat, this is the place for you. Really great food, atmosphere, and customer service.

Cozy space with friendly staff and the best gelato! I was delighted by the warm environment. I met a couple of girlfirends here and we sat for a couple of hours in this very inviting space. The woman at the counter allowed me to try three different gelato flavors (Sweet Potato, Peanut Butter Banana and Fior di latte) before I settled on Dulce de Leche. It was absolutley delicious! Everything there is homemade, from the syrups to the chai. This is a lovely place to put your feet up and gather with friends!

Nice little stop before I went into Morgan territory canyon. The staff/owners were very kind and shared their recommendations and insight into other local businesses. My iced decaf Americano was flavorful and it was fun to try one of their in-house syrups, the vanilla cardamom. If you are an affogato fan, namely gelato and espresso, this is the place to get it! Their decor also was fun hehe

Friendly service and great tasting treat. I got the Cold Brew Float with the Thin Mint Gelato and now it’s all I can think about. Wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it again.

Excited to have this new venue in our neigborhood! Their Italian gelato is the real deal - it tastes like it does in Europe. They also get the portion size right, a small is truly small (although still plenty for me), and you get to choose 2 flavors. They also have great coffee/espresso/cappuccino, served in style in a real ceramic mug like it should be (you can it to go too). Also on the menu: Hot chocolate and baked goodies. Interior is very inviting and entices you to hang out longer...maybe play some of the board games which are available. Has the potential to become a cool hang out spot!

Review of coffee and pastries only. Coffee was quite good. The donut/Beignet were quite good (I don't personally like white chocolate, but even that one was good for what it is). Pastry selection was pretty limited otherwise. I did love the hot chocolate - too sweet/vanilla for me. Not terrible, just not what I like. Overall, pretty good for the things that were good...

I had a cappuccino to go and it was delicious!! The place is super cute and the staff was very nice! Definitely coming back!

Best coffee this side of the caldecott. They roast their own coffee and their owners have been coffee professionals for decades. They are meticulous about everything they do. You can watch them weigh the grounds for each shot of espresso. They even weigh the yield of liquid espresso to make sure every shot is perfect. You won't find that at your chain cafes. Even most specialty coffee shops don't that much attention. 10/10

Stopped by for coffee and gelato. They closed early this weekend. Please see the note. Heard great things about their gelato, will be back again.
