This is much more coffee shop than bank. It’s A nice way to escape the heat and crowds in downtown Walnut Creek. I got a oat milk cappuccino for $1.08 because of a special they have. If you have a capital one card drinks are 1/2 price. It’s quiet enough for students to study and there is ample seating.
I have a capital one card and they have been unwilling to help me through a financial problem I am having. I am going through a rough patch financially and every other credit card has set up a payment plan with me to help pay down my cards / with little interest. Capital One continually now says that they cannot offer any assistance and can't help me pay down my card with lower interest by canceling the card. Multiple associates have told me the best thing they can offer is that I don't pay the card back, let it go delinquent for 180 days and then charge off the card. That was their recommendation. Other banks have offered me 0% interest with a 60 month repayment plan while they close the account. Capital One - please be better.
This is my favorite place to get work done or study. Think of it as the best place to have it you are doing a work from home day and actually need to get work done with our distractions. It helps that they serve Peets coffee and it is half off if you use a capital one card. They also have books of you need to take a business call or have a one on one meeting.
I’ve been terribly curious about checking out what next gen banking was envisioned to look like, at least before the pandemic. Glad I got to pop in finally and thankfully had a great recommendation from the barista. The café part of the bank essentially carries Peet’s coffee without integrating with the Peet’s app but he shared that the one thing they have that no other Peet’s has is blackberry kombucha. WOW. I feel like it’s been missing from my life this whole time! Wonderfully refreshing and almost floral like a hibiscus tea. Solid visit!
One year update: Just as great of a visit but this time they have a Nitro Strawberry Rhubarb (If I remember correctly 😅). It’s SO refreshing and I got to have a genuine heart to heart with Hayley to whom I recommended the drink too. She’s a gem of a person and I’m sure all those who bank with her sense her care and sincerity 🥰!!
This place is nice and great place to get coffee while shopping. You also get a 50%discount if you use your Capital One card. Sometimes, they have promotions where they give free pastries or cookies on weekends. (Great perks) The Peets Coffee staff are friendly. The Capital One staff is not too friend. Daily I ride my bike from Pleasant Hill all the way to Walnut Creek/Alamo and would like to stop to get some coffee once in a while. The first time I was with my friend riding our bikes, we were allowed to take our bikes inside and sat on the corner tables. We were not blocking the other tables. The bank staff didn't say anything to us. Two weeks after, I was by myself and tried to take my bike inside and the bank manager/staff stopped me; and told me I can't take my bike inside. I told them I'm taking it to go and wasn't going to seat on their chairs. Twice I came here by myself, both occasion they refused to let me inside with my bike. With the cost of gas, I thought I'm helping the environment by using a bike (not EBIKE) to get coffee when I needed one. I would think they would be more considerate for people riding bikes. The 2nd time I came, I put my bike on the side of of the wall (by the ATM) not obstructing the ATM machines or entrance door, again I was told to leave my bike outside. There's so many incidents of smash and grab people stealing stuff, I wasn't going to leave my bike outside the door not even for a second. I don't carry a bike lock with me as I wasn't planning to seat inside the cafe. I think this is a bad customer service on their part. They let strollers or scooters inside but bikes are not allowed? I've been to other regular coffee shops (Peet's, starbucks, Philz etc) and they don't mind when you bring your bike inside the shop. They need to revisit this policy. I see a lot more people drinking coffee and they ride their bikes. They seat around other coffee shops. I no longer get my coffee here since they're not bike friendly. Thank you for giving discounts but need to revisit your bike policy.
Super neat and nice cafe! Ordered Hot Mocha ☕️ and it tasted really good. CapitalOne card holders would get a 50% discount on purchases made here. Good WiFi and 2 ATM machines right at the entrance. Lots of room to spend time for work or just chats with friends. Cool location!
Love how low key and NOT LOUD the whole place is. I can meet my clients here or stay to get away from my home office now and then. 50% off drinks using my Capitol One card is fabulous. There are several small private "study" rooms and 2 or 3 larger meeting rooms. Only two downsides: there aren't a lot of outlets so think ahead, and there's not much food. I'm settled in and would stay longer AND spend money if I could get something other than pastries and sugary snacks. I've noticed a lot of people bring food in with them.

Great ambience! Best tasting coffee! You get half off if you use Capitol one card. I wish there’s more of this bank-cafe around 😄
