Clutch and Coffee

Staff was super friendly, food was fresh and very good. The only issue we had was the barista had to make our coffee 3 times because they kept forgetting what we wanted which was pretty simple.

Other than that, pretty good brunch place!!

I HAVE BEEN THERE ONCE!!! and since then TRYING to get home early enough to get some delivered to me!!! I work in orange county and can't get home early enough since they close so early, :( WITH THAT said....i will be one of their first customers on SUNDAY! Awesome awesome awesome!! We did dirty chai, americano, orange juice, some tea...waffles and chicken, some chorizo and egg....there was 5 of us with VERY distinct tastes and we were ALL very pleased!

It was okay. The first thing that I noticed was a hair in my potatoes. Then my poached eggs were more like hard boiled eggs. My girlfriend got the Tri-Tip Country Fried Steak and although it was unique, she had to do a little more chewing than normally for a typical Country Fried Steak. The menu is quite interesting and I’m willing to give them another shot.

I ordered with them on Postmates but my order kept getting rerouted to different drivers once they arrived at the restaurant. On my 3rd driver, I messaged her and asked her to tell me if I’m just having bad luck with drivers or if something is going on at the restaurant. She informed me that the restaurant told her that they do not do Postmates orders anymore and they have not bothered to take their restaurant off of Postmates… what a waste of money as I did not receive my breakfast

They have big portion food but the food is not that delicious even the coffee. And our serve is not friendly. She didn't even get our orders right and ignore my friend.

I went on a Sunday, not realizing it was the "Antique Fair" weekend. Arrived at 1:30pm, only to find that the wait was an hour. Completely understandable. It was busy everywhere in Old Torrance. One of the 3 gals behind the counter said she was sorry that the wait was so long. As I walked away, I heard the other girls comment, "Sorry? Don't say you're sorry! Why should you apologize for being busy!" I didn't feel bad that they were busy, but hearing the girls general lack of grace was very distasteful. If this is the kind of attitude the staff have toward their customers, this is not a place I want to patronize.

I came here with a couple of coworkers for coffee. My experience wasn't too good, but i hear good things about the food, so I'm willing to give them another try. As we walked in, we stood by the "wait to be seated" sign. Two employees behind the kitchen counter motioned with their hand and told us to "sit wherever." We sat with no menus. Then we were approached and the server wanted to take our order. We said we needed menus. She brought us menus and stood at our table pressuring us to order right then and there. I just ordered what my friend ordered because i didn't want the server to stand there and watch me as i read through the coffee options. We asked for three waters... didn't get them. Our coffee came, i asked for the waters again... didn't get them. We weren't checked on by the server; she returned only to give us the check. The coffee was really good though!
