Clutch and Coffee

Absolutely amazing! Stopped in today and everything was great. It was around $60 for two people. The service was fast. We went after 1pm avoiding the busy hussle. Also everyone was nice and friendly.

Clutch and coffee is a cute coffee shop and cafe located in the heart of downtown Torrance. It seems to be the go to spot because it was jammed packed when hubby and I arrived. Since we are coffee lovers, we had to give them a try.

Parking is a bit tough. There is only metered parking so make sure to keep your eyes open to find a spot. We just wanted to grab a coffee and dip out. But it seems like you need to sit and grab a bite to enjoy the full experience. Maybe next time we will do that. I ordered an iced maple brown sugar latte and hubby ordered an iced horchata latte. Since they only had one barista making the coffees, it did take a little while for our order.

The drinks were tasty and different from what we usually get. So I’m glad about that! The staff was nice and were very busy running this way and that. They may need another barista to help out.

Wow, the food is great. However, the restroom smelled like meth, other than that... I would definitely go back again.

We met up with friends who suggested this spot and it turned out to be great! The food was delicious and the staff were super accommodating and friendly. There was about a 30 minute wait and it was kind of noisy making it hard to hear sometimes, but we didn't let that bother us too much. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is the fourth and last time we eat here.
The food and coffee was only slightly warm.
There was only one waitress and at the end of our meal she said we should have mentioned that fact.
The portions were generous, but the Polish omelette had very little sausage in it.
Our guest was not impressed either.

So I have been here over a dozen times now. I have never left hungry or been disappointed with the food or service. The owners play a very hands on roll in the business....literally never stopping. They don't just go from table to table and talk to customers like a lot of owners do but they clear tables, take orders, seat people....literally never stopping and always busy.

A true family establishment as their kids and other family members work here too. We were there for over an hour just taking our time eating and I never saw one member of staff stopped .....constantly moving and turning over tables....some of the hardest workers I've ever seen and always a friendly smile. While seated I had 4 different people come up to me and ask how the food was or if we needed anything else! Wow......these folks have done it right!

I have tried a lot of different items on the menu but I always come back to the sopes Benedict....this Spanish take on an old classic really makes the taste buds explode! Hubby had the clutch burger and good grief was it yummy! I had to steal a bite. With real chefs handling the menu all of the food is absolutely delicious and the different coffees are out of this world!

If there was a 6th star option I would choose it. I really can't say enough good things about this place!

If you haven't been I low key feel a little bad for you. The decor is off road sports theme with an emphasis on offroad motorized vehicles and Baja racing. This offroader really appreciated the attention to detail and truly unique decor. What are you waiting for? Time to go to Clutch!

2nd time around, I actually picked up a friend T 630 AM, to drive 88 miles to meet 4 more friends for breakfast. Its THAT good.

Best breakfast by far! Coffes are on point flavorful but not syrupy or super sugary. Loaded potatoes are killer, blueberry lemon pancakes are unique and delicious. Serving size is large easy to share. I bring anyone from out of town here because it is that spectacular!

Breakfast was good. Place is clean. Waited sometime for a seat. Seems to be short handed.

The food was excellent, we were there for breakfast; my pancakes were hot till finished, coffee was superb. Staff were very attentive, the place was full for a weekday breakfast. Many tv's, my only negative is that it's loud/echos. Has a small-town feel. We will surely go again.
