The Red Hut Waffle Shop

Had a really decent breakfast here. Nice history to the place and far nicer than the larger commercial chains. Prices were OK and the breakfast was fine, coffee so so but it is a diner!

Stopped here before leaving Tahoe and not only was the food good, but service was amazing! Manny right away welcomed us, was very attentive and had a great personality.10/10 would recommend and stop here next time.

If you like diners, you'll love this place.

Pro tip: they tend to over scramble eggs, so if that's not your thing, ask for "soft scrambled"

Old school diner. Very busy on the weekend, but there is a reason! They food was delish! Classic diner styler breakfast and the bacon was cooked perfect! Get here early, snag a parking spot in the back and enjoy!

Terrible service. My group waited 30 minutes to get our order in. The server tried taking orders from the group that came in after us. The two groups that came in after us got their food before we did. Our food was cold when it came out. Definitely don’t have restaurant etiquette.

The staff were warm and welcoming. They accommodated our small dog in her carrier. They even brought water for my pup. Very nice considering the poor service we have been getting at other businesses we would expect to receive. Thank you Red Hut cafe
