Absolutely lovely little place with the friendliest staff. Very chatty and pleasant people to be around. Food is what you’d expect from a classic American diner

Great service, friendly staff, decent location, small restaurant. Huge portions, delicious food, descent prices, and amazing waffles. We got our food within 5 minutes.

Great food. Tried corn waffle for first time. Delicious and must try the jalapeno 🥓 bacon. Oscar the chef is great.

Delicious breakfast! Waffle, pancakes, toast, country fried steak, hash browns, eggs, bacon, and sausage! We sat at a round table on the side of the restaurant and didn’t have anyone else near us. Our small dog was able to sit and relax with us while we ate. Both of our servers were very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

Googled breakfast places near me (Tahoe) Red hut waffle shop popped up.. food in the pictures online looked decent.
Myself & my two toddler daughters came to try it out.. It was boring & bland.
Daughter #1 ordered scrambled egg w/cheese. Eggs came back dark (burnt)
Daughter #2 ordered mickey pancake. Pancake tasted like ????
Ordered myself scrambled eggs & country potatoes. I received hash browns (the freezer kind). Eggs were dark.

The food just wasn't good at all. Reminds me of why, I don't eat at Dennys or IHOP.. this food tastes similar.

Breakfast (waffle, bacon, and an egg) was mediocre and not at all worth the price. Quality on par with a chain such as Denny's.

This was the best breakfast I've had in Lake Tahoe for the past 4 years. Great Service, Great Food, Great Location (if you're staying in south lake). Great flavor, good portion. Very Friendly staff. Will be back!!

This place is legit! Great diner, get there early if you don't want a wait. Best chicken fried steak we've ever had! Servers were friendly, food came out quickly.

I absolutely love going in this place every time I get greeted with smiles the food is absolutely delicious and the prices are pretty reasonable. Thanks guys you made my day!
