What a great way to start the day! My husband had the Hungry Hiker and I had the Ugly Fries. Both meals were so delicious! A super cute place to grab brunch. Employees were very friendly and attentive. Thank you!

The Belgian Waffle batter was quite bland. I was looking for a relatively sweet breakfast and added copious amounts of maple syrup and it was STILL pretty bland. I asked for whipped cream - fortunately that was a little sweetened. A little only though. The sausage Patties were good. The Driftwood Chiller was pretty nice.
Tables are a little too close to each other and most of the staff was not wearing masks. There was a 25 min wait for a walk-in reservation on 9 AM on a Sunday. Be prepared to wait a bit. There was also a strong gust advisory that day so keep warm.

Our first time here and it was well worth it. Atmosphere is lively and busy. Food was amazing, and servers were welcoming and attentive. Wish to come back but not looking forward to the wait time.

Deja Vu, is what the server said after seeing us return!
Delicious breakfast, at an affordable price!
This place is so good that it's always jam packed. It's wise to join the wait list prior

Good food and good friendly service at this nicely decorated little spot. The prices were really good for the area. It was worth the short walk from the casino.

This place is a good breakfast/lunch spot. It’s conveniently located. The staff is nice and the decor is cute and unique. I’d eat here again.

Best cafe to have breakfast in South Lake Tahoe. Both breakfast and lunch are served the whole day. The menu has vegan and vegetarian options. It was crowded when we visited, had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table.

Convenient location to the gondola, very busy on a Sunday morning, but food and service were quick. Only eaten there once and we wanted to get on the slopes quickly. Mostly classic breakfast traditional food. They made us feel very welcome and I think every employee thanked us for dining with them and said goodbye and it felt genuine.

Just had some breakfast here at Driftwood and we were quite dissatisfied. It seems like there was a big line but we got seated quickly. I got the California sandwich, it was mediocre and the fries were very bad. Cold and chewy. They charged me for ranch and didn't mention it. The other Heuvos Rancheros special came out cold as well. Very bland and not worth the price.

Pricing is on point but food quality wasn’t the best. Service was very good and the cappuccino I got was good as well. It was very clean inside and I loved the Halloween decorations as well.
If you decide to come here in a weekend, make sure you get here before 830 as this place gets super busy.
Food quality: French toast was very cinnamony and the toast wasn’t too fluffy. Bacon was decent. My wife got a Belgian waffle that she said was just okay, nothing special. Maybe it was a hiccup for us since it was busy when we got here. Anyways, I would try other breakfast places and do not plan on returning.
