I wanted to like this place better than I did. My cap was actually bitter, almost sour and I was unable to finish it, my throat was becoming irritated and I had assumed I'd be receiving fresh ground and great coffee. My pastry was okay, too sweet for my taste but the shop offers little in the way of accompanying foods. They were very crowded and busy with a fun atmosphere but that also meant a long wait. I bumped them up a star, from 2 to 3 for being dog friendly.. a very big plus! Also expensive but many shops are.

It's dangerous to work nearby because the temptation of grabbing a coffee here is always so strong! They have a good variety of coffees, milk alternatives, and a selection of pastries. I've always had my orders to go so I haven't spent a ton of time inside, but from what I've seen it seems very cozy and welcoming. It's not cheap coffee (maybe $0.50-$1.00 more expensive than Starbucks) but it's definitely tasty.

We’ve been coming here since they opened. Solid 3rd wave coffee and fantastic atmosphere. They support the bike community and other local merchants. Might be one of my top ten small businesses anywhere!

I liked everything about this shop and the fact that they allow dogs inside or as in my experience going there. One thing I do not like is that they do not inform you were to heat your bread. Another thing is if you want for example cream cheese for a bagel you need to ask for it they don't not ask you for it but overall it's a very good coffee shop to go since there is a lot of communication between people outside the store.

Coffee: good, but not the most-amazing-cup-ever kind of good I'd expect from the glowing reviews I had read. Maybe there was an off bean in mine(is that a thing?)
Almond croissant: really tasty, nice flaky texture, but maybe a tad greasier than I would have liked. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. Nice big, crisp almond slices were surprisingly satisfying;kinda like a soft crunch.

I stopped by here to do some work on my laptop and it was perfect. Lots of seating including outside. If you need power for your laptop, the outside seating along the wall has many outlets. There is wiki as well. The mocha I had was good but the almond scone I had blew me away. Definitely a great place to grab a snack and coffee. It seems to get pretty busy with lots of road bikers, dogs, and little kids outside. Great vibe!

My favorite coffee in Santa Barbara and all of the central coast. I go here several times a week and I buy there coffee for my French press at home. Worth every dollar. Friendly staff. Great pastries and avocado toast. If you want more food to go with your coffee they have another location and a bigger menu. Nice vibe and the line moves quickly. Good place to meet up with friends and for business meetings.

I love local coffee houses. Handlebar has great drinks and we enjoyed the outdoor patio.

I love this coffee shop! The coffee is absolutely delicious. I have drunk almost all of their drinks- Definitely, one of the best coffee shops in the area. The price is so affordable and the latte art and the service is very good!
