Love this coffee!!! Great espresso and lattes - European quality…

Good coffee with an assortment of milks sometimes there's not enough seating, you can sit at blaze pizzas outside seating which IMO is a bit better than street side.

Very good coffee.

The lower star is for less satisfactory service. I ordered a milk shake for the kids, it had several plastic vinyl particles in them. When I brought it back and asked how it got into the milkshake, the batista said it is from the ice-cream packaging. How? I asked. He just repeated the same thing and quickly threw out the particles I laid out and the milkshake I brought back. He did say sorry, and offered to remake it. I said didn't want another one. He said "okay" and that was it. Could I get refund?

This place has a great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and some outdoor seating too. It is not cozy and intimate, but instead one big open room so noise can be a problem. It has a very youthful vibe being in a college neighborhood. I found the staff to be courteous and helpful. I have only been there once and ordered tea and a honey scone. Both were delicious but because I've had so few samplings of the menu I have only given three stars. The more I go there and more items I try I may very well increase my stars with confidence.

While the goods are great…the line is always long on weekends and even with 4 people making drinks it still took almost 25 min to get 2 coffees…and that was AFTER being in line for 10 min! Ugh. Better to go mid day during the week…weekends this coffee shop is better suited for the students as it’s located right by Cal Poly.

An absolute gem! Congratulations to the talented couple that dreamt up Scout. The open and welcoming layout effortlessly blends with the cosy but sophisticated atmosphere. The barista’s serve up the most delicious coffee concoctions. They even added a little sprinkle of freshly grated dark chocolate to my latte...I could have stayed for hours. Make sure to grab yourself a freshly baked morning bun from the bakery on-site.

Scout, I'll see you again!

Best coffee in SLO. Roasted locally by HoneyCo (same owners, IIUC). Lovely retail location, you should go there!

Awesome coffee as well as some wonderful baked things. This place is fresh and fun and the coffee is delicious. I had a Gibraltar which is kind of like a mix between an espresso and a cappuccino. Yummy for sure! We went on a weekday morning and this place was bumping! My wife loves it and comes here all the time. The style of the place is fun comfortable and enjoyable. This is definitely something very special as coffee shops go.

Love, love, love. Excellent service by artisan baristas. Gift shop had a good selection of unique items. Students studying and parents visiting. Crowded parking lot and pedestrians.

Scout is a SLO staple at this point. Their coffee and coffee drinks are all very good, it's got a nice hipster vibe. My general comments throughout my patronage has been their bakery items are mostly very sweet, and while they're good, sometimes I just want a less sweet option or two.
