Great independent barista-model coffee shop steps from Pacific Beach. I had the house blend (even though I usually go for single origins) and it was excellent! My wife had a latte and really enjoyed and we had pan au chocolat which was seriously great. Highly recommend!

This place is pretty nestled into the shopping complex, making it difficult to find, but totally worth the effort.

Everyone here was super sweet, helping us with suggestions on our orders and even customizing our orders the way we wanted. We were told this used to be a salon, now converted to a coffee shop. I’d never have guessed, it has a great bohemian vibe going, and a really nice place to just chill out with some great coffee.

Love this coffee shop! So cute & perfect location. This is the best coffee in San Diego, and the two owners are the sweetest, most compassionate individuals! Every time I come in they greet me with the warmest smiles and make me feel welcome. Plus the vegan pastries will put other coffee shop pastries to shame!!!! I’m there at least twice a week 💜💜

Amazing coffee shop owned by local couple! Creative drinks with an amazing bean profile that strikes a perfect balance between acidity, smoothness and body. They have a selection of vegan and "regular" pastries, which paired with their non-coffee drinks makes it welcoming to anyone and not just coffee snobs!

Pump Coffee was a phenomenal experience not only for the fantastic Dirty Maple Chai but the ambiance and the friendly barista and owner, Joey. Joey really went the extra mile by serving everyone on a busy Saturday morning with a smile and excitement while sharing local recommendations for our group. Highly recommend Pump Coffee regardless of your drink preference!

I'm no connoisseur, but I know what I like, and this place has the best coffee I've ever tasted. The people who work there are super nice and not at all snobby like at other "fancy" coffee shops. I wish I lived here so I could be a regular. As it is, I'm going to get coffee here every day of my stay.

Great new coffee shop opened by a charming young couple. Their pour-over was an experience - served with whole and ground beans in small cups and water to cleanse the pallet, it was a whole sensory buffet! Also had a mean cappuccino on my second visit, highly recommend this new business!
