Pump Coffee

Cute little coffee shop. They have some specialty lattes and then all the usuals. Prices are on par with the area. Very friendly and inviting. Cold brew was solid.

super cute place. the two beverages i tried -rose lavender iced latte and iced mint matcha. both great. if you don’t like really sweet, you can ask for 1/2 sweet which is what i did for rose lavender and it was perfect. would come back again. WAY better than buzz coffee which i though was terrible

I try to come to this coffee shop every time I drive down to San Diego. (I’m from LA) They’re so welcoming and their coffees and pastries are so delicious!! Ashley was the kindest barista I ever met, I’ll definitely come visit again!

Read some reviews and we’re staying a few blocks away so decided to check out Pump. Both baristas were super nice and welcoming, with a nice atmosphere. I’m a big matcha fan so decided to go with the mint matcha…. It was amazing. Taste just like a mint chocolate chip ice cream (got it with oat milk). Will be back!

The place is really cute, they some some small tables. The Cold brew was really good,taste a lot of coffee not like diluted. The croissant was ok. The service was friendly

Came to Pacific beach area on family vacation and came here each day for my daily coffee! Super friendly staff that makes you feel at home and AMAZING coffee, highly recommend! (Try the chaga!)

On vacation and on my run saw a sign for the shop so I stopped in. So glad I did because the shop is perfection, from the coffee, to the decor, but most of all the service. During a rush I saw one of the owners (or who I assume is one) step aside to help an awesome mom who had her hands full, literally and figuratively, tend to one of her child’s wound, clean a spilled drink for the other, and give the two dogs some love all so the mom could sit for a second. I’ll be back in tomorrow for another delicious rose lavender latte!

Fantastic espresso. Barista suggested letting it cool for a few minutes to get the full black cherry flavor. Bites on the front end and then turns smooth and sweet as the after-taste sets in. "Batch" drip coffee is excellent. I like to let it cool to get all the flavors. Great visit.

Pump Coffee is a newer coffee shop in Pacific Beach and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They have drip coffee, pour overs, and all the espresso drinks as well as tea. They also have their own cold brew bottles. The couple that took a chance to start it is wonderful! I’d encourage any visitors to stop in and support this business as well as treat yourself to caffeine delight!

They do have fresh pastries and treats, but more of a small selection as they are mainly coffee. You can also buy beans here.

Outstanding addition!!

The staff is so amazing here. Nicest people in PB. The manager (or owner maybe?) made my morning when I stopped in this morning. The decor is super cute too. And of course, the coffee is great! I had the batch coffee, reasonably priced. Will be making this my daily spot!
