Chiefy Cafe

On the hunt for coffee while walking my dog, I strolled by Chiefy last week on a weekday morning sometime after 7am. The cafe was quiet, Gaslamp Quarter still waking up, but the barista was energetic, bright-eyed, and pleasant. Noticing my dog, she immediately hooked my dog up with a puppaccino—a generous one, and at no charge! My Viennese latte was great, too. Will have to come back for food on a future visit!

We went looking for a place to have a quick breakfast and came upon Chiefy café oh my gosh it was the best food and the owner, delightful- our pup was invited in & the owner gave her a treat. I’ll be back for sure

I was walking in downtown until I stumbled upon this place. I was pleasantly surprised to see freshly made qcai bowls on the menu. You can certainly tell this place has had a lot of love put into it. The owners were very polite and went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience.

Loved the experience and I am definetely coming back! Camila recommended the avocado toast and honestly I'm not a big fan of avocado but she was so nice that I trusted her.. and SURPRISE i loved it! Thank you Camila for changing my relationship with avocados!

Meh, expensive coffee with artificial flavoring. Not very good for the price.

We came here on a weekend and we had the best breakfast here. The avocado toast was amazing and the wow bagel was definitely a wow breakfast. The coffee is strong and the owner Dani is amazing

Simply the best! Outstanding service and very friendly. You can tell Moe goes above and beyond for his customers and takes serious pride in his craft.

Dog friendly as well. Every time we walk past the shop, our puppy gets so excited and always wants to say hi to Moe. 100% recommend.
