One of my favorite local coffee shops! Amazing coffee, pastries, and they have really good sandwiches too. Acai bowl is bomb!! Workers are always very friendly and attentive! I've never had a bad experience here, highly recommend plus you get to support a local business!

They like to be tipped but they don't like to tip the couriers who buy and deliver milk for them.

Had a delicious caramel latte and salmon bagel. Well worth the visit and very close to fiesta island. I will say one thing and I can’t pinpoint it to them but I had some very bad stomach issues about 2hrs after consuming the products. But despite that I would 10/10 go there again

Had to give Billy props for the coffee, he did a great job on our order. Friendly, nice open layout, neat, clean, and not sticky sweet. Always looking for that new coffee place, once word gets out I predict that this shop will be overrun!

Fabulous local coffee spot in Bay Park. Open air environment adorned with beautiful plants from the local hydroponics shop next door. Reo, the owner, crafts great espresso and coffee. Originally from Japan, he creates a peaceful and spacious environment that I appreciated. I love that he offers oat milk and organic milk. Art from local artists serve as decor and seating both inside and outside. Pastries from local bakery, Bread and Cie. Thanks for the ham anf cheese croissant, it was delicious!

Loved this cafe! Great coffee and my breakfast was divine :)

Nice little nook tucked away in an unsuspecting area of San Diego. I got a matcha latte, but a bunch of drinks on their menu seem great.

Best dirty chai in town!
☕️: if you aren’t ordering a dirty chai, a simple latte will also blow your mind.
🥯: the ham and cheese sandwich is my go-to. The croissants will melt in your mouth.
🪑: seating is all outdoors and can be limiting. They’ve managed to convert a few parking spaces into tables and chairs.
😎: overall it’s a perfect neighborhood coffee shop (and a staple even if you don’t live in the hood).

I'm updating my review after a few years. Under the original ownership this was a 5 star establishment for me. Since then it's changed hands a couple of times. My favor of this place has declined and mostly come back over the years. Lately the coffee hasn't quite suited my tastes in a way that I've struggled to define. It's just off by a little bit. However, excepting pandemic circumstances, the new owners have made the space seem homey like it was when it originally opened. The outdoor setup they have works pretty well. We'll see how it handles the cooler conditions. Given their hours, I expect it will hold. Staff has been super friendly.

I heard from my buddy that they don’t tip their service employees more than $1 ever!
