A lot of comfortable seating and outlets, which is half of what I look for in a coffee shop. Both my iced chai latte and boyfriends iced tea seem a little watered down, but just barely. The barista is friendly, but it looks like she's the only one and the tables stayed dirty with empty cups for a little while until she could get to it. The space is open-feeling and good energy.

I love the atmosphere and the coffee at Tupelo but finding a parking spot anywhere close is almost impossible! I'm sure there's some time of day where parking is a little easier but it's never been a time that I've visited. However when my best friend comes up to visit from Bakersfield she always wants to go to Tupelo.

Tasty, hearty cup of coffee served by attentive staff. Nice patio out front. Students from nearby Sacramento State University and local neighborhood residents occupy most of the spacious indoor space.

The pastries are pretty good here and everyone enjoys the coffee, which they put a lot of effort into the presentation of. They actually serve you with glass plates and glasses so it feels way more ornate here than say at Starbucks or Pete's

Got the Vietnamese coffee. Really good. Not pretentious coffee shop. Lots of selection of coffee and non coffee options.

Worst coffee I’ve had in a loooong time. Uber expensive, lukewarm and espresso was weak. I live in SF and the price I paid for a latte here ($6!!!) of such poor quality was what I would expect if I were at SFO. So underwhelming. You can get a great fabulous quality latte at Sightglass in SF for around $5 and same at Temple in downtown Sac. So sad because this place use to be really good if I recall. Won’t be back and I feel like I should’ve just gone next door to Starbucks! 😣

When I asked for a dark roast they said they had it and proceeded to serve medium roast. They lied but just worth noting that they do not serve dark roast here. Apparently this is a place to go for specialty drinks but not a place for a plain cuppa Joe. My partner really enjoyed the Bowl of Soul.

My all time favorite cafe to study in while I was attending CSUS. The coffee here is so good! The atmosphere very relaxing. Grab one here and walk the beautiful East Sac neighborhood on a lazy Sunday morning! :)

Great coffee baristas, very comfortable space to relax or work. Needs bike parking, I don't like having to hoist my bike over the chair rail and I am afraid of blocking the sidewalk if a wheelchair using patron needed to get past.

It's definitely a great space to come and hangout, read, or study for a while.
As a place for a "quick" coffee, you may be better served elsewhere as it can take a while for a drink.
There is plenty of seating, and thankfully plenty of outlets.
