$4 for 12oz black drip +$1 tip. I go back for a refill… $2.25 for a refill for DUCKIN black coffee :-p i told the nice employee to keep the cup. I won’t be back, even after they rethink what a cup of black coffee is worth to someone. Starbucks and coffee bean and anywhere else will serve more black coffee, just nice black coffee, more affordability. ****mind you and The Boy, I understand and happily support the Little Guy, is why I stopped here. My review is simply focused on Black Coffee… The Boy, will you respond with your numbers to justify why you should charge me $2.25 for the labor and material of a “Black Coffee Refill”??? If so, and I don’t see profit margins of an Airport Bar, I might return…

I LOVE THIS COFFEE SHOP!! My favorite drink is the Carmel Latte with Almond milk cold or hot. Its subtle, as in you still taste the coffee and are not overwhelmed with sugar or artificial flavors. The environment is dark and cool, with comfy couches to sit and relax, and also an outside patio with a view of redondo beach. By far my go to if I'm going out for coffee 100%

Love the color, the location. Staff is very bubbly. Good dogs and good motorcycles that pull up. Only con: not next to cozy cafe

Cool hipster spot with nice vibes. Street parking available. Stockholm fog was delicious (mocha and chai but I added a shot of espresso).

Great vibe and fantastic coffee. Takes a bit to get your order but it is worth it.

Music was really loud, so couldn't hold a conversation at all. But was nice for just sitting back to relax or work. Bright and airy spot. Iced caramel latte was perfect for the warm early spring day.

Best coffee I've ever had in the US, smooth tasting coffee, the mocha and vanilla lattes are a stand out and worth driving out of your way for!

I have had good experiences here, but the latest one was extremely disappointing.
I walked in around 1:58pm and have been here much later in the past. I look over the bags of whole bean coffee and after 5 minutes or so, make my selection. I go to the register to order a drink and pay for the beans and the worker in a man bun and glasses tells me that they are closed and can't make any drinks. I told him I had been there much later in the past and he said they changed their hours a few weeks ago. I asked if I could get it to go, to make an exception (since I had been there for a little bit) and he starts talking back to me, telling me I should have gotten there earlier. I did get there before 2:00pm, at which he should have asked me to order right away, since they were closing. There were still at least 5-7 people in the shop, mind you.
So I put back the $20 coffee beans and walk out because I don't want to spend my money somewhere that treats their customers like this. Horrendous customer service there today.

The mocha is good. Expensive. It is all about the owners and their rules. Not community. Hipster vibes.
The music is so loud for the last month of me coming here. I could hardly focus on my work.
The website states that the original intent of the meaning in their logo ...."to have an environment where people can find common ground, build friendships reguardless of background, start conversations". I just come here for the mochas. Customers and the establishment only care about themselves. It is sad.

I visited this place after hearing a couple of praises from unrelated individuals. One of them described their latte as absolutely amazing.
Upon entering the shop, I was greeted with an amazing aroma that was both new and familiar. It smelled like coffee but on another level, perhaps how parfume compares with cologne. They have gigantic dog food sized burlap bags of coffee beans along the side of the store.
The menu is simple, like In-N-Out simple. I orderer a Hemp Milk Latte with Vanilla flavor added and was asked to wait outside while the beverage was prepared.
So - now about the actual drink. WOW! HOLY S#!+ It was complex and smooth with a seeming lack of acidity and imparted the delicious flavor of coffee without the bitter aftertaste characteristic of coffee.
I will definitely come again, but wouldn't do so daily as I'm the kind of guy that did an ROI calculation on and invested in an espresso machine at home since I prefer to conserve dollars with self sufficiency. That being said - whatever they prepared and served me is something I don't know how to make at home. At $6+, its an indulgent and luxurious treat you can afford to reward yourself with at least periodically.
Enjoy! ☕
