Such a great little coffee shop! Cozy and beautifully designed, the boy & the bear offer a variety of beans that they roast themselves.
Enough tables and couches for studying or to just hang out.
I recommend their Stockholm fog, a mix of mocha and chai.

Out of all the coffee shops in the area, this one caught my attention because of the aesthetic and name. When I arrived I wasn't greeted or welcomed, but that was fine. Until I got my order taken by a pretty rude guy. The guy was not happy to answer my questions about the coffee and was in a rush to get my order. I like to try different coffee shops throughout LA and even make my own espresso at home. So I have many other experiences to compare this to. Customer experience? Needs some work. The coffee? My $6 hot mocha was not even filled to the top in spite of the cups already being quite small. If I'm ever in the area again I'm taking my business elsewhere.

This place is a vibe, and it’s apparent that the management loves their craft because care has been taken in every detail. I highly recommend the coffee pour overs and breakfast paninis!

It’s a beautiful space, but customer service is super slow, nobody don’t give you any attention when you come inside! I waited for my latte 20 minutes.

Super excited to find a specialty coffee place in the southbay! Had a great super-smooth Latte and a black coffee. Both lighter roasts which always tastes better to me than dark roast which usually tastes burned.

Coffee and vibe was great! Love their branding and salted iced coffee!

Just fantastic. Lovely food and coffee and impeccable design. There’s a designer behind the scenes somewhere!
