I came in at 5pm for an early dinner when the large restaurant was almost empty. It took over 90 minutes to get my entree, which was only partially cooked. They clearly kept forgetting I was even there.

Amazing and authentic Italian restaurant.
Top notch service by Ernest at the table and John at the bar
The food is delicious, fresh and tasty.
We love the pasta here...spaghetti with lobster and the lasagna.
Do not miss for the desert, the fresh cannoli and the excellent panna cotta.
They have a wonderful wine list with raisonnable price.
Do not miss this place ..A GEM❤️

Food was amazing. I tried the Linguine Vongole and I loved it. Definitely will come back to try other dishes.

Not a good value. Food was decent service very lackadaisical. Would have expected much more. Nothing spectacular and certainly not worth the price.

2 stars for the decor, 1 star for the food. We started with bread and it was delicious. But the main courses were bland and barely edible. Servers never refilled our drinks even though customers were scarce at the time. The silver headed man who sat us barely acknowledged our existence, the snobbery seemed right out of a movie. Surprised by the good reviews frankly.

It's very noisy and the waiter never returned to ask if we needed a refill etc.

For as busy as it was & being a waiter myself, I fully understand how hard it can be to give quality service to your guests when you're sinking with 6-10 tables of 2 people or more at each table & the staff here was able to not only provide excellent service but also never forgot about us. The only reason & I mean only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I didn't really enjoy my food, not because it wasn't cooked or prepared right because it was, it was just a dish I thought I'd like but didn't. It wasn't under cooked or over cooked nor was it cold, it just wasn't my cup of tea so to speak. Other than that, we had an amazing time & will definitely be back. I'm sorry I can't remember her name but she was amazing. Brunette girl, short, Took great care of us, even with the place as busy as it was.

Set your reservations early because this place stays packed and the ambiance is so inviting and the food is so good you'll likely not be in a rush to leave. The staff is helpful and always around for assistance. Unless you've been to several Italian restaurants before you'll need to clarify a few things on the menu. The food is fresh fast and oh so flavorful. Even the bread and spread is spectacular. If you're in the area pop in as soon as you can.

My husband and I visit Palm Desert twice a year for a few days, and Il Corso is by far our favorite restaurant. We are both vegans (+fish for me) and the kitchen always has options that work well for us. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the food they serve, professional and friendly. We always feel pampered and at home when we visit. Thanks so much for your hospitality!
